WSDB-675GN Hardware & Software Setup Guide Rev. 0.1 Proprietary & Confidential Information Doc. NO: 1. WLAN Function Quick Start Guide Physical hardware configuration likes as figure1. Please follow the following procedure step by step to get starting WLAN function. SDIO Board Software setup: Follow driver installation procedure steps to install the GB86302X0 driver on your PC (OS: XP). 1-1.Copy WDSB-675GN\WSDB-675GN_Driver_V1.2_10122012\Nvram\20130429_GB86302X_nvram.T XT to C:\Windows\system32\Drivers 1-2. Copy WDSB-675GN\WSDB-675GN_Driver_V1.2_10122012\BCM4330_WinXP_MFG_5.90.125.120( A2)\Apps\ wl.exe to C:\Windows\system32\ 1-3.In Device Manager, choose SDA Standard Compliant SD Host Controller and click right button of mouse and then choose Update driver Proprietary & Confidential Information Doc. NO: 1-4.Choose No, not now, and then click Next. 1-5.Choose install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next. Proprietary & Confidential Information Doc. NO: 1-8.Click Browse to choose correct directory of Driver WDSB-675GN\WSDB-675GN_Driver_V1.2_10122012\BCM4330_WinXP_MF G_5.90.125.120_A2(Driver) \bcmsddhd.inf and then click OK to next step. 1-9.Choose Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter and click Next to install driver. NO: 1-10.Click Finish and you can check the device is working fine in Device Manager. 1-11.In Device Manager, Choose Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter right button of mouse and then choose content. NO: and click 1-12.In the tab of Advanced, choose 1-13.In the tab of Advanced, choose 4330ROMImagePatch item and replace with \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\ 20130429_GB86302X_nvram.TXT and then click OK button. NO: This device is intended only for OEM integrators under the following conditions: 1) The antenna must be installed such that 20 cm is maintained between the antenna and users, and 2) The transmitter module may not be co-located with any other transmitter or antenna. As long as 2 conditions above are met, further transmitter test will not be required. However, the OEM integrator is still responsible for testing their end-product for any additional compliance requirements required with this module installed IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that these conditions can not be met (for example certain laptop configurations or co-location with another transmitter), then the FCC authorization is no longer considered valid and the FCC ID can not be used on the final product. In these circumstances, the OEM integrator will be responsible for re-evaluating the end product (including the transmitter) and obtaining a separate FCC authorization. End Product Labeling This transmitter module is authorized only for use in device where the antenna may be installed such that 20 cm may be maintained between the antenna and users. The final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following: “Contains FCC ID: ARS-WSDB675GN”. The grantee's FCC ID can be used only when all FCC compliance requirements are met. Manual Information To the End User The OEM integrator has to be aware not to provide information to the end user regarding how to install or remove this RF module in the user’s manual of the end product which integrates this module. The end user manual shall include all required regulatory information/warning as show in this manual. Declaration for no non-US channel operation We, Top Victory Electronics (Taiwan) Co Ltd. declare that the device does not support any non-US channels in all the operational mode(s) for the following products.
