1.Makesurethemediaisproperlyloaded,theprintmoduleisclosed,and
theprinterspowerswitchissettotheOFFposition.
2.PressandholdtheFEEDbutton,andturnontheprinter.
3.Bothstatuslightsglowsolidorangeforafewseconds.Next,theyturnto
greenshortly,andthenturntoothercolors.Dooneofthefollowingto
selectthesensor:
 Ifyouwanttocalibratethetransmissivesensor,whenLED1turnsto

2.PressandholdtheFEEDbutton,andturnontheprinter.
3.Bothstatuslightsglowsolidorangeforafewseconds.Next,theyturnto
greenshortly,andthenturntoothercolors.Whenbothlightsturnto
red,releasetheFEEDbuttonimmediately.
4.PressandholdtheFEEDbuttonfor3secondsandreleaseit.Bothstatus
lightsblinkredthreetimes,andturntosolidorangeforafewseconds.
Aftertheprinterisreset,LED2goesoutwhileLED1turnstosolidgreen.
ImportantInstep4,ifyoudonotholdtheFEEDbuttonlongenough,
LED2willblinkorangethreetimeswhileLED1goesout.Itmeansthe
printerisnotreset.

4.1Cleaning
Tomaintainprintqualityandprolongtheprinterslife,youneedtoperform
someroutinemaintenance.Dailymaintenanceshouldbedoneforhigh
volumeprinting,andweeklyforlowvolumeprinting.
CautionAlwaysturnofftheprinterbeforecleaning.

Itisessentialtokeepprintheadcleanifyouwantthebestprintquality.We
stronglyrecommendthatyoucleantheprintheadwhenyouloadanew
mediaroll.Iftheprinterisoperatedincriticalenvironment,ortheprint

10) Peel off the backing sheet of the RF Certification Label and attach it to the position as
shown below.
Note:
Be sure not to cover the contents described on the rating label when the RF Certification Label
is attached to the upper right corner.
11) Close the Top Cover.
