BEFORE YOU START: TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, SO YOU CAN FULLY ENJOY PLAYING WITH YOUR DRAGONFLY. Before playing with your DRAGONFLY, You’ll first have to charge the 9.6Vni-cad battery & install a 9v battery in the controller. BATTERY REQUIREMENTS: CI A9.6V Nl-CD or NiMH battery (sold separately) powers your DRAGONFLY _ I CI The 9. kl rechargeable battery should be fully charged before it can is sed. CHARGING THE NICAD BATTERY: follow directions included with the battery INSTALLING THE NICAD BATTERY: D Ask an adult to unscrew the battery cover on the back of the Dragonfly ‘ Loosen the screw holding the battery box cover ( picture#1). Remove the battery compartment cover by twisting counterclock- wise. Plug the connector from the battery into the connector in the bat- tery compartment as shown in picture #2. Insert the battery into the compartment (wire end first) so the connectors are in the space below the battery as shown in pic- ture #3. FCC ID: NLKTM13307267 l TOYMAX LTD. EXHIBIT # 4 it i Reinstall the battery compartment door by lining up the tri- angle and the line(see picture #4) and turning door clock~ wise.Secure with the screw. INSTALL THE 9V BATTERY IN CONTROLLER: El A standard 9V alkaline battery(not included) powers the controller. Remove the battery box door by sliding it back & lilting as shown in picture it; Place the battery in the compartment, following the diagram in the companment. Be sure the “+" on the battery is on the correct side. To Operate Your DRAGONFLY: o The controller has 6 control buttons. The buttons on the top,control5the movement of the x tech wings up and down. Use the first linger of each hand on these con- trols. The left raises the wings and ghe right lowers the wings. (Sff PIC fit" fl! o The two buttons on the left make the dragonfly go for- ward and backward. o The two buttons on the right make the dragonfly go left and rightt . Turn the CONTROLLER unit to the "on“ position. TURN THE DRAGONFLY TO THE ON POSITION‘ ALWAYS TURN THE CONTROLLER ON FIRST. DRAGONFLY. is now In your control! 0 DRAGONFLY can be used indoors or outdoors. l n d o o r s: DRAGONFLY will work on most sur- faces including tlat floors, tile, and low pile carpet. 0 u t d o o r s: DRAGONFLY can be used outdoors on hard surfaces. When the Dragonfly has reached maximum speed,hit the tonrvard button. Sometimes it will flip over and sometimes it will stay on it’s tail. Ct WILD TAIL WALKS: When the Dragonfly is on it’s tail, hit the left or right buttons and Dragonfly will spin around and do wild things. SPIN OUTS: With the wings in the down position, hit the forward button, then as it reaches maximum speed, hit the left or right buttons. El 360 DEGREE SPINS: Hit the left and right buttons at the same time. Q SPlNS outs: drive forward, then hit the left or right button. WARNING! Do not plug anything other than the correct 9.6V battery into the battery connector. REMOVE THE 3 SCREWS ON THE BACK OF THE WHEEL( SEE FIGURE # i) 1 REMOVE THE KEEPER ON THE AXLE AND TAKE THE WHEEL OFF THE AXLE. SIDE THE OTHER WHEEL OUT WITH THE AXLE. REMOVE THE 3 SCREWS, AND KEEPER FROM THE OTHER WHEEL. INSTALL THE NEW WHEELS BY SLIDING THE LEFT WHEEL ONTO THE AXLE, PUSH THE KEEPER ON THE AXLE AND SCREW THE RIM INTO PLACE WITH THE 3 SCREWS. . \ : SLIDE THE AXLE THROUGH THE BODY AND PLACE THE RIGHT WHEEL ON THE AXLE. PUSH THE KEEPER ON THE END OF THE AXLE. ATTACH THE RIM WITH THE 3 SCREWS. TO REPLACE THE REAR WHEELS: REMOVE THE 3 SCREWS AS SHOWN IN FIGURE #D 8 AND REMOVE THE COVER. LIFI' THE OLD WHEEL OUT.
