DRAGONFLY“
INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations! You are now the proud owner
of the most exciting R/C vehicle in history!
BEFORE YOU START: TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY, SO YOU CAN FULLY ENJOY PLAYING WITH YOUR DRAGONFLY.
Before playing with your DRAGONFLY, You'll first have to charge
the 9.6Vni-oad battery & install a 9v battery in the controller.
BATTERY REQUIREMENTS:
D A 9.6V Nl—CD or NiMH battery (sold separately) powers your
DRAGONFLY.
CI The 9 rechargeable battery should be fuily charged before
it can is sad.
CHARGING THE NICAD BATTERY: follow directions included
with the battery
INSTALLING THE NICAD BATTERY:
El Ask an adult to unscrew the battery cover on the back of the
Dragonfly t
Loosen the screw holding the battery box cover ( picturetft).
Remove the battery compartment cover by twisting counterclock-
Plug the connector from the battery into the connector in the bat-
tery compartment as shown in picture 32

Insert the battery into the compartment (wire end first) so the
connectors are in the space below the battery as shown in pic-
ture tts.
Reinstall the battery compartment door by lining up the tri-
angle and the Iine(see picture #4) and turning door clock-
wise.Secure with the screw.
INSTALL THE 9V BATTERY lN CONTROLLER:
D A standard 9V alkaline battery(not included} powers the
controller.
Remove the batte box door by sliding it back & lifting as
shown in picture . Place the battery in the compartment,
following the diagram in the compartment. Be sure the '+"
on the battery is on the correct side.

To Operate Your DRAGONFLY:
o The controller has 6 control buttons. The buttons on Pufi" # 5
the top,controlsthe movement of the x tech wings up and
down. Use the first finger of each hand on these con-
trols. The left raises the wings and she right lowers the
wings. (Sf! PN‘fNN fill
o The two buttons on the left make the dragonfly go for-
ward and backward.
o The two buttons on the right make the dragonfly go
left and rightt .
Thrn the CONTROLLER unit to the "on" position.
TURN THE DRAGONFLY TO THE ON POSITIONo
ALWAYS TURN THE CONTROLLER ON FIRST.
DRAGONFLY. is now In your control!
0 DRAGONFLY can be used indoors or outdoors.
l n d o o r s: DRAGONFLY will work on most sur-
faces including flat floors, tile, and low pile carpet.
O u t d o o r s: DRAGONFLY can be used outdoors ”of!" ”5
on hard surfaces. Do not run DRAGONFLY through
WATER, SAND or DIRT ~ this will damage DRAGON-
FLY'S electronics and gears.

Cl WHEELIES: with the wings in the down position, push the forward button, a with a fully charged
battery, you should be able F ‘pop' a wheelie.

Cl FLIP OVER : with the wings in the up position, bush the reverse button. When the Dragonfly has
reached maximum speed,hit the forward button. Sometimes it will flip over and sometimes it will stay on
it’s tail.
D WILD TAlL WALKS: When the Dragonfly is on it’s tail, hit the left or right buttons and Dragonfly will
spin around and do wild things.
SPIN OUTS: With the wings in the down position, hit the forward button, then as it reaches maximum
speed, hit the left or right buttons.
0 360 DEGREE SPINS: Hit the left and right buttons at the same time.
Cl SPINS outs: drive forward, then hit the left or right button.
WARNING! Do not plug anything other than
the correct 9.6V battery into the battery connector.

O REPLACE THE FRONT WHEEL:
REMOVE THE 3 SCREWS ON THE BACK OF THE
WHEEL( SEE FIGURE # ')1
REMOVE THE KEEPER ON THE AXLE AND TAKE THE
WHEEL OFF THE AXLE.
SIDE THE OTHER WHEEL OUT WITH THE AXLE.
REMOVE THE 3 SCREWS, AND KEEPER FROM THE
OTHER WHEEL.
INSTALL THE NEW WHEELS BY SLIDING THE LEFI'
WHEEL ONTO THE AXLE, PUSH THE KEEPER ON THE
AXLE AND SCREN THE RIM INTO PLACE WITH THE 3
SCREWS. , 1 ,—
SLIDE THE AXLE THROUGH THE BODY AND PLACE THE
RIGHT WHEEL ON THE AXLE. PUSH THE KEEPER ON
THE END OF THE AXLE. ATTACH THE RIM WITH THE 3
SCREWS.
TO REPLACE THE REAR WHEELS:
REMOVE THE 3 SCREWS AS SHOWN IN FIGURE #fi 8
AND REMOVE THE COVER.
LIFT THE OLD WHEEL OUT. INSTALL THE NEW WHEEL
AND REINSTALL THE COVER AND THE 3 SCREWS.
