TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO READ
THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY,
SO YOU CAN GET THE BEST
POSSIBLE PERFORMANCE FROM
YOUR DRAGONFLY.
BATTERY REQUIREMENTS:
The Equalizer requires a 9.6V NI~CD rechargeable battery (Not included) and
one 9V battery (Not included).
EHAREE YDUR BATTERY PACK FOR 4-5 HDURS TD
FULLY EHAREE THE BATTERY PACK
BATTERY PDWER:
This 9.6V Nl~CD (Nickel Cadmium) battew pack must be charged with quick charger by
TOYMAX (or with other quick chargers recommended for equal charging ability). NI-CD
battery packs may supply more power than conventional alkaline or carbon-zinc batteries.
Be sure to use this battery only with vehicles recommending use of a rechargeable '
9.6V NI—CD battery pack.
Running time will be determined by play and driving style.
NUTE: Recommended to use 600-800mAH rechargeable battery.
CHARGER E BATTERY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: - This battery pack is not charged when newly purchased.

' Fully charge the battery pack for 4 hours before using.
Plug the charger into standard 110/120 volt wall outlet.
Plug the wire connector lrom the charger into the wire IM’UT cizov AC solinw

Charge the battery pack tor 4 hours (5 hours maximum).
After charging ior 4 hours. the batter pack will feel warm
to the touch.This condition is norma torlully charged
batteries.
NINE: Charge the battery pack tor more than 4 hours will
not provide longer running time. Four hours Is all lhal is
required to lully charge the battery pack.
To disconnect connectors. push down on the connector clip
and gently pull apart.
Connect charged battery pack to R/C vehicle according to
manufacturers Instructions. Always disconnect battery pack ,
lrom vehicle when not In use Ior an extended period at time ”11ng Pack
and when recharging.
Alter use, battery pack will be hot to the touch. Wait at least
20 minutes until the battery pack cools down beiore Picture #5
recharging, Recharging a warm or hot battery pack will reatly

TIME TO HEEHAREE:
A NI-CD Battery will lose all of its power at once. ' .
When the charge is lost from a NI-CD battery pack, Dragonfly wrll suddenly stop operating.
Dragonfly is not detective, however, it is time to recharget e battery pack.
CAUTIUNS:
DO NOT CHARGE A BATTERY THAT IS WET. HOT OR SHOWS SIGNS OF LEAKAGE OR CORROSION.
BATTERY PACK SHOULD BE UNPLUGGED IF UNUSED FOR SEVERAL DAYS,
CHARGER SHOULD BE UNPLUGGED WHEN NOT IN USE.

included) provides power to the
controller.
A Remove the battew box door by
sliding it back and lifting as shown.

diagram in the compartment,
insert the battery.

THE EUUALIZER can he used indoors or outdoors.
Indoors: THE EQUALIZER will work on most surfaces including flat floors,
tile, and low pile carpet.
Outdoors: THE EQUALIZER can be used outdoors on clean, hard, dry
NEVER RUN THE EQUALIZER THROUGH WATER, SAND or DIRT. DAMAGE

Radlo Interference:
- Interference can be caused by a variety of devices both inside and outside.
- lf Dragonfly is not responding to the signal from the transmitter, try using The Equalizer
in a different location or at a different time.

A Turn the CONTROLLER power switch to the "ON" position.
A Turn the THE EQUALIZER power switch to the "ON" position.
NDTE: ALWAYS TURN THE

The Controller:
The controller has 6 buttons:
Two at the front of the controller

Caution: Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. Read
instructions before operating. Avoid hitting people, pets or home furnishings.
Never operate in the street. Keep hair, hands and clothing away from vehicle
when power switch is turned ON. DO NOT pick up moving vehicle. Remove
battery pack and transmitter battery when vehicle is to be stored for an
extended period. Do not store in direct sunlight. AVDID TIRE EDNTAET
UN PAINTED DR VARNISHED SURFACES.
