Charging:
Vour bluGENIUS uses a rechargeable battery Fully charge battery before using. Please turn OFF
quGENIUS before charging
l . Use the USB cable provided to connect to any computer/notebook or USB power adaptor.

Turn quGENIUS OFF when not u ng to save battery life. Battery saver will move into sleep mode
when no sound input for more than 20 minutes. Swi h OFF and to Bluetooth (at) mode to restart.
Before using the bluGENIUS, please pair it with your smartphone, MP3 player, Computer or any
Bluetooth-enabled device. Set your Bluetooth device to discover the bluGENIUS by following
the instruction manual for your device. Typically the steps are going to 'Setup‘”Connect” or
“Bluetooth‘ menu and then selecting the option to discover Bluetooth devices.
1.Turn the bluGENIUS to 'Eluetooth (sti' mode. Speaker will automatically begin pairing. The
blue indicator light will blink rapidly. Th ndicates'in pairing mode”.
2. When your Bluetooth-enabled device discovers the bluGENlus. press ”OK” to pair with the
bluGENlUS. Blue indicator will switch to slow blinking to indicate pairing is successful.
Troubleshooting:
- If pairing to bluGENlUS fails, make sure speaker is in pairing mode. If blue light indicator is
not flashing, it indicates speakers is not in pairing mode. Please reset device by turning OFF
and then switching back to ”Bluetooth (W'mode again to restart.
- Ii Bluetooth-enabied device fails to locate bluGENIUS, chedt that the speaker is in pairing mode.
Ensure that your device is within range (within 30leeU10 meters). Restart your bluGENIUS to
reactivate Bluetooth pairing mode. Ensure that your device is not connected/paired to any
other Bluetooth device as the bluGENIUS can only be paired to one device at a time.

How to handle calls:
After pairing is established, you can answer/end calls from your Bluetoothenabled smart phone
Your bluGENIUS buttons can control calls in all the ways detailed in ”Description of Buttons"

How to use Line-in function:
Turn the biuGENIUS to 'ON'and plug 35mm audio cable in. Plug other end into your device.
You can only control the music and volume from your device.
