Parallel Alignment Shutoff Valve Button and LED Behavior Button Behavior Perpendicular Alignment Action LED Behavior WALLY LIMITED WARRANTY This device complies with FCC Rules Part 15 and with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference that may be received or that may cause undesired operation. FOR ONE YEAR from the date of sale this Product has a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship when it is correctly connected, operated and maintained according to all supplied instructions. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received WITH PROOF OF SALE within the Warranty Period, then as your sole remedy (and Wally Labs’ sole liability), Wally Labs will at its option either 1) replace the Product with a new product that is functionally equivalent to the original, or 2) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, in each case within 30 days following receipt of the returned Product. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Product. When a Product or part is exchanged, any replacement product or part becomes your property and the replaced Product or part becomes Wally Labs’ property. This warranty does not cover the batteries, which are expendable parts that can wear out from normal use within the warranty period. Note: The stem position line, located in the center of the Shutoff Valve, in the perpendicular alignment will be in-line with the pipe, while in the parallel alignment the stem will show in the opposite direction of the pipe. Damage to or failure of the required ISO5211 ball valve, necessary to the function of the Wally Valve, yet sold separately. Any issue with the ISO5211 ball valve should be directed to the manufacturer. WARRANTY SERVICE To obtain the warranty coverage stated above, return the Product with proof of sale to the retailer from which it was purchased. Please be prepared to describe the nature of the problem you are experiencing with the product. Any claim under this Limited Warranty must be submitted to the retailer from which it was purchased before the end of the Warranty Period. Together they work to detect water leaks early and prevent additional damage by shutting off the water supply. Wally protects your home and gives you peace of mind. Wally Sensors you have installed in your home to trigger the Shutoff Valve off. Users may also manually trigger a shutoff via the Wally apps or by pressing the orange button on the Shutoff Valve twice. Please Note In order to take advantage of all the capabilities of the Shutoff Valve, you must pair it with the Wally Hub from the Wally Starter Kit. Please read through the following instructions carefully to ensure proper installation of the Shutoff Valve’s installation and commissioning. When a Sensor detects a leak, the Shutoff Valve turns off the main water supply to prevent additional damage. Installing batteries in the Shutoff Valve 1. Loosen the screw from the bottom of the battery compartment. 2. Install the 4 included batteries as instructed. 3. Replace the bottom battery compartment and tighten the screw to ensure a waterproof seal. 4. The Shutoff Valve will perform the built-in Self-Test and the motor stem will begin to turn. 1. Open up the Wally app on your mobile device (iOS or Android) or download it from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. 2. Press the button on the Shutoff Valve once and the LED will begin to flash green. 3. From the Dashboard in the Wally app, tap “Add Product” and follow the instructions. 4. When the Shutoff Valve has successfully paired the LED will stop flashing and the Wally app will show a new tile on the Dashboard for the Shutoff Valve. You may tap the Shutoff Valve tile to view more information and to control the valve remotely. Shutoff Valve Alignment Reset Parallel Mounting using the long adapter Perpendicular Mounting using the short adapter Performing a Shutoff Valve alignment is necessary in order to indicate to the Wally Cloud that the Shutoff Valve is in the “CLOSED” position and thus prevents water from flowing. 1. Align the slot on the top part of the Shutoff Valve motor stem perpendicular to the water flow direction by single pressing the button until the flow of water has stopped and the slot is perpendicular. 2. Set the closed state by pressing the button 5 times. This will program the Shutoff Valve to know which way is closed versus open. 3. Once the alignment is reset, toggle the Shutoff Valve to the “OPENED” position manually by pressing on the orange button twice. 5/8/17 12:47 PM
