Congratulations
You have just purchased a quality baby monitor. Please read the instructions thoroughly before
using the monitor system and keep it for future reference.
Key / Button Index
AC Adaptor:
The AC Adaptors are low voltage power sources that allow you to use your household electricity
to run the Baby Monitor. Connect the AC Adaptors to the AC Adaptor Jack in the Parents and
Baby Units. Both plug into any standard volt electrical outlet in your home. It is recommended
to turn off the units before plug or unplug the adaptors.
CAUTION: These adaptors were made with a specific design for this product. They cannot be
used with any other appliance. Never use a different type of adaptor with this monitor.
Important!
CAUTION
This product cannot replace responsible adult supervision.
This Baby Monitor is intended as an aid. Do not use it as a medical monitor or a substitute
for responsible and proper adult supervision.
Make sure the Baby Unit and adaptor cable are always out of child’s reach. Do not place
the Baby Unit inside the baby’s crib or playpen!
The antenna on the Parents and Baby Units are fixed, do not try to extend them. Never
attempt to modify the product.
Avoid using the system near water.
Parents & Baby Units Battery Installation
1. Locate the battery compartment door on the back of the Parents and Baby Units.
2. Open the battery compartment door.
3. Insert 3 pieces of supplied re-chargeable batteries into the Parents Unit and insert 3 AAA
alkaline batteries into the Baby Unit.
4. Replace battery compartment doors.
Battery Tips:
If the system is not in use for a long time, disconnect both units from the household electrical
outlet. And remove the batteries or the exhausted batteries from the units, otherwise battery
leakage and corrosion can damage them.
Dispose the batteries safely.
Non-rechargeable battery is not to be recharged
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Only the batteries of the same and equivalent type as recommended in the “Battery Installation”
instructions are to be used.
Parents & Baby Unit Battery Changing
1. Use only the AC adaptors which are included in the package, Plug into any nearby
standard household electrical outlet.
2. And connect them with the units.
3. It takes 8 hours to charge the re-chargeable batteries full at the first time.
Note:
User can also install 3 alkaline AAA batteries instead of the supplied re-chargeable batteries;
Or directly operated by the supplied adaptor.
The power indicator will turn off when the power is out or in low battery. In this case, user
needs to re-charge the supplied re-chargeable batteries or change for new alkaline AAA
batteries.
Testing Before First Time Usage
Test the Baby Unit transmission and the Parents Unit reception.
Set both Parents and Baby Units to the same channel (1 or 2) by switching the channel switch.
Place Baby Unit in room where you intend to use it. Push the SESITIVITY switch to Norm
position to turn on the Baby Unit transmission. The power indicator lights. Please refer to
Color Index of Power Indicator.)
Place Parents Unit in room where you intend to use it. Rotate Volume dial to turn power on.

Light of sound level indicator lights when sound is received:
One or two dots light for shallow sounds received.
Three or more dots light for louder sounds received.
When you experience interference (buzzing or static, etc.), switch both units to the alternative
channel.

Setup & Use
IMPORTANT! Test sound reception before use and whenever location of transmitter is changed.
(Refer to Testing Before First Time Usage)
Baby Unit detects sound levels within a range of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6.5 feet) for NORM
setting.
Place Baby Unit in the same room with child. Point microphone directly toward child location,
such as crib or playing area.
Set both Parents and Baby units to the same channel (1 or 2)
Push Baby Unit SESITIVITY switch to NORM or HIGH position. The Power indicator lights.
(Please refer to Color Index of Power Indicator.)
Adjust different detecting sound level sensitivity by switching the SESITIVITY switch to
either NORM (normal sensitivity: 1 – 2 meters) or HIGH (high sensitivity: 2 – 6 meters)
position.
The baby unit will go to stand-by mode for power saving when it doesn’t sense sound from
the surrounding area.
Place Parents Unit where you stay and hear it.
Turn on the Parents Unit by rotating Power/Volume dial. Power indicator lights when the unit
is on. (Please refer to the Color Index of Power Indicaotr.)
Rotate rotating Power/Volume dial to adjust volume.
Note:
Position the Baby Unit at least 1 meter away from the baby so that the microphone can
pick up the child’s sound.
Unwrap and fully extend power cord for best transmission if adaptor is used.

Note: Communication range varies depending on
surrounding conditions such as physical obstructions,
interference.
5. Conversations or sounds from
other homes received
Signal interference due to other nursery monitor on the
same channel or cordless phone used. Change both
units to another channel to eliminate source of
interference.
6. High pitched noise
The Parents and Baby Units are positioned too close to
each other. Move Parents Unit away from Baby Unit.
The volume is set too high. Lower the volume at the
Parents Unit.
