This guide is for use with Tunslall Radic- Pullcord 64604/02
Confirm Functionality and Compatibility
The Radio Pullcord is a radio transmitter device activated by pulling an integral cord.
it is designed for installation into flushmount, recessed wall boxes- typically oiCarlon or m5 manufacture Viilh 3.3 inch mounting
centres.
Installation
a) Operate the power switch on the rear ofthe Pulicbrd using a narrow, but blunt, nun-conductive item (cg cocktail stick) Take care
not to damage components on the circuit board below.
b) Fix the puilcord to the recessed, flush mount back box (note if particularly damp environments are to cxisl for appreciable time.
then a impervious seal (cg silicone bead) is recommended to be provided.
c) Note that the pullcnrd must be mounted away from electrically conductive surfaces/ materials to ensure no impairment of radio
range. Walls might typically be plasterboard but should not be foil backed.
c) Program the puilcord into the appropriate Personal Emergency Response System (PERS). The PERS should be placed into radio
programming mode and a pullcord transmission initiated. Complete any configuration if necessary (cg non plug and play systems)

d) Test the installation by activating the associated equipment either via a test button or raising a full alarm condition,

The product and packaging have a small labcl containing a bar codc,
This bar code (code 123) contains (reading left to right):
6 digits, decimal to represent the radio identity; 1 digit to represent the product type (=3 for Pullcord); 1 digit
chcoksum. (Eye readable version is printed undemealh)
Additionally on the label is the pan numbcr and issue (top right) and the week and year ufmanul'aclulc (bottom Icli)
On the packaging there is a larger label and barcndc.
This bar code contains:
a digit serial number (being week number, year, sequential serial), 7 digit pflrl number, 2 digits issue (Eye readable
version is printed underneath)

Battery Monitoring; The battery status is also communicated to the PERS Equipment. The battery is checked upon manual activation or
within the supervision cycle,
