31 ZMHz Radio Passive Infrared Sensor (Supervised) Installation Guide This guide is for use with Tunslall Radio Passive Infra Red Sensor (FIR) 64604/03 These word supplement the instructions provided by the FIR manufacturer to which reference should he made. Confirm Functionality and Compatibility The Radio Passive Infra Red sensor (PIR) is a passive infra red movemcnt detector uith an integral radio module. Installation (3) Refer to provided installation instructions for optimal mounting position for I’m detector. (b) Note that the PIR must be mounted away from electrically conductive surfaces/ materials to ensure no impairment of radio range. (0) Partially dismantle the PIR to access the rear pattress within which knock out holes provide for mounting (d) Connect the provided battcry- ensure polarity is correct (a) Program the FIR into the appropriate Personal Emergency Response System (PERS). The PERS should he placed into radio programming mode and a PIR transmission initiatedt This is most easily donc by placing the FIR into walk test tnodc- sce FIR instntcttons. Complete any configuration it“ necessary (eg non plug and play systems). Refer to the relevant advanced user or programming guide. (0 Test the installation- note the alarm interval statement in the instmctions. !. Images Not yet available Label lnterpreta on The product and packaging have a small label containtng a bar code. This bar code (code 128) contains (reading ICE to right): 6 digits, decimal to represent the radio identity; 1 digit to represent the product type (4 for PlR): 1 digit checks-urn.
