RCAD-01 User’s Manual Ver. Preliminary
Overview:
The RI ResponseCard AnyWhere Display is
designed to be used with the RI ResponseCard
AnyWhere. The ResponseCard AnyWhere sends
poll summary data via RF to the ResponseCard
AnyWhere Display, which in turns graphically
represents this data on video devices.
Up to 10 RI ResponseCard AnyWhere Display units
can interface with 1 ResponseCard AnyWhere.
The RI ResponseCard AnyWhere Display also
supports firmware upgrades and two-way
communication over a USB interface to a PC.
In Idle state, the RI ResponseCard AnyWhere
Display displays a default video screen, which
indicates the currently configured RF channel and
firmware version number and is in a RF monitoring
mode awaiting input from a ResponseCard
AnyWhere. The screen saver turns on after 5
minutes of inactivity.
RF Channel:
The RI ResponseCard AnyWhere Display can be
configured in 1 of 82 different RF channels via the
main menu "Channel" menu item.
Display ID:
The RI ResponseCard AnyWhere Display can be
configured in 1 of 10 different Display ID values
for support in up to 10 RI ResponseCard AnyWhere
Display system via the main menu "Display ID"
menu item.
Video Mode:
The RI ResponseCard AnyWhere Display can be
configured into either "Composite" or "S-Video"
video mode via the main menu "Video Mode" menu
item.
