3). The features of parking camera
(1) with U-988 is you are guaranteed more safe and easy to park with parking camera (Parking
sensor is an option).
(2) Bar line shows the reverse direction on the display when you park in reverse.
(3) Parking camera will only operate when the gear is on reverse .
(4) The visual angle of parking camera is 135° and the visual distance is 5 meters.
2) The features of parking sensor
(1) 4 sensors on the back side bumper of the vehicle will show the distance from the obstacle
on the LCD display (Model : U-888 & U-988(option)). The distance shows 0.4m ~ 2.0m in
number and 4 steps of beep sound will be heard by the distance from obstacle.
(2) Distance number and LED will inform of the direction (right/left) from obstacle with bar line
(3) Parking sensor function starts as soon as shifted into reverse gear.
(4) Parking sensor function must be used with bluetooth room mirror.

3. How to install bluetooth handsfree
1) Model U-788
(1) Using a pair of clips (Back side of UBI-788/888/988)
place on your existing Rearview Mirror.
(2) Clip the Microphone on driver’s sun visor or set it
in a suitable position near the driver’s head. For
high quality conversation, the best position of
microphone will be nearest to the driver’s face.
(3) Wireless earphone is rechargeable. use it after
fully charged.
(4) Connect the Power Adaptor Cable into cigar lighter
jack then the power will be on.

4. How to connect handsfree with cellular phone (Model : U-788)
1). Insert the Power adaptor jack.
Power Clip the Microphone on the driver’s sun visor or set it in a
suitable position near the driver’s head.

(1) Searching bluetooth function on your cellular phone
● Searching bluetooth function → Connection to phones
→ Handsfree → Searching phone → Enter
→ Input secret number (8888) → Enter → Finish
※ Then you will hear beep sound and Power on sign will
disappear on the display.

5. How to answer through handsfree
1) Answering
① Display shows calling phone number on the room mirror with red lamp on.
② When the calling number shows on display, press button then
blue LED will be on.

10. Answering another call while you are talking
1) Press button on handsfree for 3 seconds.

1) Talking 3 people, you can change the person to press button for 3 seconds
long.
12. How to select correct frequency for wireless earphone
1) Power on (push the switch on the earphone)
2) 3 steps of frequency ranges on the handsfree(88.2MHz~88.6MHz).
3) Select the best frequency (noiseless frequency).
13. Automatic connection to handsfree
If the Bluetooth connection of last paired cellular phone is available, it will pair the cellular phone
automatically, then pair success. If the Bluetooth connection of last paired cellular phone is not
available, after a while , auto pairing fails.
14. Connceting bluetooth manually
If auto pairing has failed, press button. (Return to first step to connect bluetooth) Please make
bluetooth connection of your cellular phone useable according to your cellular phone manual.
