UNB‐2000 User Guide
1. What is Bluetooth?
By new concept of Multi‐communicator Link, it has been researched since 1994 by Ericsson, Bluetooth SIC
(Special Interest Group), which was composed of Ericsson, Nokia, IBM, Toshiba and Intel in Feb. 1998. Currently,
it is defined as the global local wireless communication standard. In addition, Bluetooth technology has been
established on the industry standard of the local wireless interface for “the innovation of the wireless
communication”, and “no wire world”.
2. Introduction of UNB‐2000
UNB‐2000 is wireless headset product to fit on the Bluetooth standard qualification and is able to enjoy
wireless high quality stereo digital music with PC, PDA, mobile phone, and PMP, which is supported by the
Bluetooth. Moreover it is compatible with Bluetooth USB Dongle and set up the optimum Audio environment
in PC.

∙ How to recharge
‐
When charger plug is connected, it is lighting on the red lamp.
‐
When completed charging, the light is off
‐
Average charging time is about 2 hours (When use standard AC adapter)

In charging: Red Lamp on

Complete charging: Red Lamp off
Caution – Red lamp may not light off during recharge with USB recharge cable. But, this is not defection. Also,
when you use USB recharge cable, recharge hour will be taken more than using AC adapter (About 5 hours).
∙ Turn On‐Off
‐ When push power button for 3 seconds, power is on with “Beep” sound and Red light on.
‐ In operating, blue colored lamp is flickering in each 2 seconds
‐ In operating, push power button for 3 seconds then Red light is off and power is off with “Beep”sound.
※ Caution
In your first operation, you need to carry out the course of pairing. Pairing is registration procedure between
Headset and Dongle, or Headset and Bluetooth mobile phone or other Bluetooth devices. In addition this
enables you to recognise designated Bluetooth devices. Through this registration process, you can enjoy the
music or talk. Moreover it removes the line interruption and sets up the security as well. After first pairing, you
don’t need to do this again.
※ Usually when it is shipped out, UNB‐2000 is charged only 30%. After purchase, please use it after
completely charging up.
5. Pair Bluetooth Headset
· Pairing
‐ When pressing power / Call button for 3 second, power lamp is on with “Beep” sound.
‐ Then you must not release the button until the “Blue” lamp is flickering quickly with the beep sound.
‐ This shows that the product is ready to be paired with other devices.
‐ Select “Search the device”or menu of “Inquiry”to the Bluetooth Mobile phone or PC.
‐ Then you will see the word of the search window “UNEEDS UNB‐2000”
‐ Select it then your mobile phone asks PIN number,
‐ Enter the number 0000 and push the“OK”button
‐ Blue lamp of the Headset is begun to flicker out in every 2 seconds and the following message is shown up
“to be connected between Headset and PC or Mobile phone”.
‐ It is ready to be used.
· Disconnect
‐ Press “Disconnect” to return to stand‐by mode
*Pairing with USB Dongle
‐ Insert the USB Dongle in the USB port of your PC.
‐ Press pairing button for 3 seconds
‐ The Blue and Red lamp is flickering quickly.
‐A few seconds later, pairing process will be automatically finished.
6. How to use “UNB‐2000”
A. Music listening
‐ You can enjoy high quality stereo music by mobile phone or PC which is supported by the Bluetooth
technology.
‐
Play / Stop: Using this button you can play or stop the music.
‐
Previous Music / Next Music: You can select music with this button.
B. Telephone Calling
‐ “UNB‐2000“supports to voice telecommunication on the mobile phone or VolP of PC.
‐ When you have an incoming call while playing the music, it is automatically converted to the talk mode with
pausing the music.
‐ After finishing talk, it is automatically converted to the music mode again.
‐ Turn‐on / off button

When you have an incoming call, you will hear ring tone from your speaker then just press the talk
button shortly.

You can make the last incoming call redial by pressing shortly the talk button.
(This function depends on the kind of the mobile phone)

To make a call, just follow your normal steps (push the number or select the number) and press the
Turn‐on / off button shortly.

When you shortly press the talk button on your mobile phone while talking, you can talk by the
headset.
‐ You are able to control the volume with Vol‐ / Vol+ button.
7. Frequently Asked Question
⊙ If you cannot hear any sound from the headset”
‐ Check on the power of the Headset or Dongle.
‐ Confirm that the is properly connected with other devices
‐ Check if headset is registered
⊙ Battery life
‐ Battery is expendable. So from your initial using moment its remaining time became shorter is usual.
‐ When you put this product near from some places where are high temperature, high humidity, or low
temperature the battery’s durability might be reduced.
⊙ Echo
‐ The echo might be occurred in the narrow and closed spaces such as restroom or stairway etc.
‐ Depending on the volume, it may occur the resound. In this situation please control your volume.
⊙ Bad Connection
‐ It may occur the bad connection in the situation that the mobile and Dongle is under the desk or on the bag,
or wrapped by the hand. The unstable frequency situation of the area is another problem to occur the bad
connection.
⊙ How long does the Wireless communication distance between headset and mobile phone?
‐ Normally the wireless communication range is up to 10 metres.
‐ However distance can be reduced by unstable frequency situation or using wireless LAN at the same time.
⊙ When the charging lamp is not properly working.
‐This is not caused by defection of product. This might be triggered by followings
i.e The battery is fully charged, the charging plug is not properly inserted in a wall socket,
When you are facing with this situation just unplug the cable then insert it again.
⊙Volume / Noise
‐ When you talk in outside, construction site, or highway, your partner might hear the ambient noise.
‐ Except you are in noisy areas, volume level must be lower than 3rd from maximum because it cause damage
of your hearing. Especially, please be aware of long time music listening by mono sound.
⊙ Use while charging
‐ It is not possible to use while the headset is charging.
⊙ Headset is not working with unknown reason.
‐ In order to prevent some dangerous situations such as wrong operation, battery overcharging and so on
headset automatically cut the power off.
‐ In this situation push the reset switch which is small hole located just next to the cable connecting hole with
clip or needle.
‐However don’t use reset button repeatedly because it might trigger the breakdown.

8. Caution for Safety

Keep the headset away from the flammables which cause the risk of the explosion.
2.
Do not drop the headset from high place or give the shock. It may reduce the expected life time.
3.
Do not modify, disassemble, or repair this product by yourself. When you are having a problem just
contact to purchasing stores or A/S centre directly.

In case the headset is sunk or wet, contact to purchasing stores or A/S centre after turning off.
5.
Do not use any chemical product to clean the headset.
6.
Use the authorized or provided charge adapter by the manufacturer.
7.
Please keep the headset in the normal temperature while you do not use this for a long time.
8.
Do not use the headset for a long time with high volume. It may damage your hearing.
9.
Our product is satisfied by the standard of Bluetooth spec 2.0. It may not be compatible with other
Bluetooth devices,
