Getting StartedThank you for purchasing the AmpliFi™ HD Home Wi-Fi System. To get started, download and install the AmpliFi app from the App Store or Google Play™ Store.

Hardware OverviewRouter FrontRemove the electrostatic sticker from the front of the AmpliFi Router.The front of the AmpliFi Router features a full-color touchscreen display. The bottom of the AmpliFi Router features an LED with a brightness setting congurable in the AmpliFi app. By default, the LED is fully lit when congured and ready for use.

Installing the RouteriPhone® Users: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled. Android™ Users: Ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled.1 Launch the AmpliFi app.
2 Power o your broadband modem.
3 Connect one end of the Ethernet Cable to your broadband modem and the other end to the Internet port on the AmpliFi Router.
4 Connect the Power Adapter to the power port on the AmpliFi Router.
5 Connect the Power Adapter to a power outlet.
6 Power on your broadband modem.
7 Follow the on-screen instructions to congure your AmpliFi Router.
Installing the Mesh PointsFind a suitable location for each Mesh Point with an accessible power outlet. The Mesh Points should be placed in dierent directions between the Router and the areas farthest from the Router.
1 Plug the Mesh Point into a power outlet. If a Mesh Point is powered on and does not appear online in the app, the signal is too weak and the Mesh Point should be relocated closer to the Router.
2 After about a minute, all ve signal LEDs should be lit solid once the Mesh Point is connected to the AmpliFi Router.
3 The Mesh Point antenna can be adjusted to provide optimal signal coverage for your location.
Resetting to Factory DefaultsIf the AmpliFi Router administration password is lost, factory default settings can be restored by using an object such as a straightened paper clip or pin to press the Reset located on the bottom of the AmpliFi Router for approximately 10 seconds until the LED turns o.If the AmpliFi Router is reset, all MeshPoints should also be reset using the same method.Router ResetMesh Point Reset

Limited WarrantyUBIQUITI NETWORKS, Inc (“UBIQUITI NETWORKS”) warrants that the product(s) furnished hereunder (the “Product(s)”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment by UBIQUITI NETWORKS under normal use and operation. UBIQUITI NETWORKS’ sole and exclusive obligation and liability under the foregoing warranty shall be for UBIQUITI NETWORKS, at its discretion, to repair or replace any Product that fails to conform to the above warranty during the above warranty period. The expense of removal and reinstallation of any Product is not included in this warranty. The warranty period of any repaired or replaced Product shall not extend beyond its original term. Warranty ConditionsThe above warranty does not apply if the Product:(I) has been modied and/or altered, or an addition made thereto, except by Ubiquiti Networks, or Ubiquiti Networks’ authorized representatives, or as approved by Ubiquiti Networks in writing;(II) has been painted, rebranded or physically modied in any way;(III) has been damaged due to errors or defects in cabling;(IV) has been subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence, abnormal physical, electromagnetic or electrical stress, including lightning strikes, or accident;(V) has been damaged or impaired as a result of using third party rmware;(VI) has no original Ubiquiti MAC label, or is missing any other original Ubiquiti label(s); or(VII) has not been received by Ubiquiti within 30 days of issuance of the RMA.In addition, the above warranty shall apply only if: the product has been properly installed and used at all times in accordance, and in all material respects, with the applicable Product documentation; all Ethernet cabling runs use CAT5 (or above), and for outdoor installations, shielded Ethernet cabling is used, and for indoor installations, indoor cabling requirements are followed.ReturnsNo Products will be accepted for replacement or repair without obtaining a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from UBIQUITI NETWORKS during the warranty period, and the Products being received at UBIQUITI NETWORKS’ facility freight prepaid in accordance with the RMA process of
