To Whom it may concern:
The transmitter, identified as AMWUT892, is a portable hand-held device that is
customarily help in the proximity of the head when listening to communications, and is
held to the mouth when transmitting. A "Push to Talk" button is depressed continuously
when the user is talking into the microphone during the transmit operation.
Therefore, we declare that when the device is used in a normal manner, the operation
shall be within the maximum duty cycle of fifty percent. It is my understanding that this
is an acceptable usage and percentage for the evaluation of maximum permissible
exposure concerns.
