Step 4 Charge the Handset

Connect the
battery pack
with the correct
polarity.

Set Caller ID on Call Waiting (CIDCW) → P.15
Note: You must subscribe to Caller ID services
through your local telephone provider to use
Caller ID and CIDCW.

Answering System:
- Record a Personal Greeting → P.39

Pick up the handset and
press talk/flash .

Place the handset in the base
or charger.

- Select the Pre-recorded message or Personal
Greeting → P.40

Refer to your Owner's Manual for detailed
operations.

Make sure that charge LED
illuminates.

To Hang Up a Call

Remove the
cover.

Caller ID:

- Turn the Answering System On or Off → P.41

Note Use ONLY the Uniden AC adapter
supplied with your new phone!

To Receive a Call
Step 2 Install Handset Battery Pack

- Set the Ringer Volume → P.17, 40

Listen for dial tone.
Dial the desired number.

Also included:

- Adjust the Earpiece and Speaker
Volume → P.20, 41
- Set Tone/Pulse Dialing→ P.16

cord to the DC IN 9V
jack (yellow).
