Step 3 Set up the Base

Handset/Base Set up:

Make sure your cordless phone's packaging
includes the following items.

- Set the Time → P.31
- Adjust the Earpiece Volume → P.17
Plug the other end into the telephone
wall jack.

Plug the AC adapter
cord to the DC IN 9V
jack (yellow).

Press talk/flash .

Plug the AC adapter to a 120V AC power
outlet.

Step 4 Charge the Handset

Note: You must subscribe to Caller ID services
through your local telephone provider to use
Caller ID and CIDCW.

Answering System:
- Turn the Answering System On or Off → P.38

Note Use ONLY the Uniden AC adapter
supplied with your new phone!

To Receive a Call
Note Use ONLY the Uniden rechargeable battery
pack supplied with your new phone!

Set Caller ID on Call Waiting (CIDCW) → P.13

Listen for dial tone.
Dial the desired number.

Step 2 Install Handset Battery Pack

Caller ID:

Pick up the handset and
press talk/flash .

- Record a Personal Greeting → P.36
- Select the Pre-recorded message or Personal
Greeting → P.37

Place the handset in the base.
Remove the
cover.

Make sure that charge LED
illuminates.

Refer to your Owner's Manual for detailed
operations.

To Hang Up a Call
Press end or return the
handset to the base.
Connect the
battery pack
with the correct
polarity.

Charge the handset 15-20 hours.
Fully charge the battery pack by placing the
handset on the base before using phone.
