23Product Reference GuideStorage and Safety PrecautionsAlthough charged, Lithium-Ion batteries may be left unused for several months, theircapacity may be depleted due to build up of internal resistance. If this happens they willrequire recharging prior to use. Lithium-Ion batteries may be stored at temperaturesbetween-20°C to 60°C, however they may be depleted more rapidly at the high end of thisrange. It is recommended to store batteries within normal room temperature ranges.Charging ConsiderationsIt is important to consider the environment temperature whenever you are charging theLithium-Ion battery pack. The process is most efficient at normal room temperature orslightly cooler. It is essential that you charge batteries within the stated range of 18°C to25°C. Charging batteries outside of the specified range could damage the batteries andshorten their charging life cycle.ۖ

The following chapter is an introduction on how to connect the PA966 toanetworkviaTCP/IP.PA966 come with a built-in RF card. The driver and the utility are also built in the firmware.RF networks look and operate similarly to Ethernet networks. The only difference isthat a radio transmission replaces the hard-wire connection between the various nodes. This means all of your existing applications that currently operate over Ethernet willalso function utilizing WLAN without any special wireless network software. Thispicture illustrates a typical network topology including the PA966 with RF.ۖ
