The optional heating requires its own power supply.You canfind detailed information in the supplementary instructionsmanual "Heating for indicating and adjustment module".Thisfunction is generally not available for approved instruments.3.3OperationVEGAPULS 67 can be adjusted with different adjustmentmedia:lwith indicating and adjustment modulelwith the suitable VEGA DTM in conjunction with anadjustment software according to the FDT/DTM standard,e.g.PACTware™and PClwith manufacturer-specific adjustment programs AMS™orPDMlWith a HART handheldThe entered parameters are generally saved in VEGAPULS67,optionally also in the indicating and adjustment module orin PACTware™.3.4Packaging,transport and storageYour instrument was protected by packaging during transport.Its capacity to handle normal loads during transport is assuredby a test according to DIN EN 24180.The packaging of standard instruments consists of environ-ment-friendly,recyclable cardboard.For special versions,PEfoam or PE foil is also used.Dispose of the packaging materialvia specialised recycling companies.Transport must be carried out under consideration of the noteson the transport packaging.Nonobservance of these instruc-tions can cause damage to the device.The delivery must be checked for completeness and possibletransit damage immediately at receipt.Ascertained transitdamage or concealed defects must be appropriately dealtwith.Up to the time of installation,the packages must be left closedand stored according to the orientation and storage markingson the outside.Unless otherwise indicated,the packages must be stored onlyunder the following conditions:PackagingTransportTransport inspectionStorage12 VEGAPULS 67 •4…20 mA/HARTProduct description32938-EN-080610
