 USER’S MANUAL AND COMPLIANCE STATEMENT   Model:     AW1102 Trade mark:    VISTEON Car Manufacturer:  SMART & RENAULT  If the user tries to start the engine without the proper key the Immobilizer system will not allow the engine to start helping to prevent the vehicle theft. Operation When you start the engine with a key that the system recognises, the system will allow the engine to continue running.  However, if someone attempts to start the engine with an unrecognised key, the system will stall the engine immediately after it start. Note The keys carry a unique electronic code. For this reason and to assure your safety, a replacement key is only possible through an authorised RENAULT/SMART dealer. Always keep a replacement key in case one is lost. If a key is lost contact an authorised RENAULT/SMART dealer as soon as possible. Maintenance RENAULT cannot guarantee the system’s operation if the system has been modified or if any added-on equipment has been installed to it.  If you have a problem with the Immobilizer system or the key, consult an authorised RENAULT dealer.
