toprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceinaresidential

Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnot

installedandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmful

interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethat

interferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescause

harmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedby



Thisdeviceisdesignedandmanufacturednottoexceedtheemissionlimitsfor

exposuretoradiofrequency(RF)energysetbytheFederalCommunications

CommissionoftheU.S.Government.Theexposurestandardforwirelessdevices

employsaunitofmeasurementknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate(SAR).The

SARlimitadoptedbytheFCCis1.6W/kgforanuncontrolledenvironment.Testsfor

SARareconductedusingstandardoperatingpositionsacceptedbytheFCCwiththe

devicetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands.

TheFCChasgrantedanEquipmentAuthorizationforthisdevicewithallreportedSAR

levelsevaluatedasincompliancewiththeFCCRFexposureguidelines.



AlthoughtheSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSAR

levelofthedevicewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisis

becausethedeviceisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouseonly

theposerrequiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawireless

basestationantenna,thelowerthepoweroutput.
