    1. Welcome to the Xxxx IPSTB1200/IPC3200 Media Client                             IPSTB1200/IPC3200 Media Client highlights:  1. Compatible with Xxxx TV services. Delivers video services to an attached TV.  2. Wired connection to your home network using existing coax cable, if available.  3. Wireless connection to your home video network only if you have an active   Gateway installed in your home. Also compatible with  Wi-Fi Booster (WFB) when present.   Important:  The IPC3200 Media Client only works in homes with a Xxxx Video Media Server.       6

Placing the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 within your home                                Please place the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 Media Client:  · On a level surface , resting evenly, and not stacked with other equipment  · In a location with adequate ventilation and normal room temperature  · In clear view of where you sit when you watch television, for IR remote   Please note:  If you wish to place the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 out of sight in a well-ventilated cabinet or entertainment unit, you can purchase an optional remote control extender cable from the Accessories store at Xxxx.com/Accessories.

Connecting the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 to your home network     Using wired connection   * Coax cable (MoCA) connection * Ethernet connection              Using Wi-Fi (Requires an active   Gateway in your home.)  Video performance may vary depending on the layout of your home and the placement of the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 and   Gateway.  Actual range and speeds of Wi-Fi signal will vary and may be limited by physical elements such as electromagnetic interference, other devices using the same spectrum simultaneously, home construction material, obstructions, and other environmental factors. A  Wi-Fi Booster ((WFB)) may be added to boost Wi-Fi strength and performance in the home.  Once the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 Media Client is connected to your TV and is plugged in, please follow the instructions on your TV screen.
    4. Turning on the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 Media Client            To power the IPSTB1200/IPC3200:  1. Attach the power supply cord to the DC IN jack at the right rear of the unit. An adjacent green light will illuminate when power is present.  2. Once powered, the unit will begin to initialize and pair with the home network. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions for next steps.  Once the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 has been connected to power, follow the instructions on your TV screen to complete installation. Please be sure you have your TV set to the correct input option to view the video signal coming from the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 Media Client.

     6. Troubleshooting tips   Troubleshooting tips:  Problem: Indicator light off Solution: Check that the power adapter is correctly connected to the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 and the wall outlet. Ensure that the green light, next to the DC power input on the IPSTB1200/IPC3200, is lit. Depress the power button to resume from stand-by mode.  Problem: No image or sound on the TV Solution: Check that the cables have been connected to the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 and the TV according to at least one of the diagrams shown in this manual  Problem: Wi-Fi connectivity issues Solution: The IPSTB1200/IPC3200 will work best when connected to a wired coax outlet. If available, a wired connection is preferred and will avoid issues associated with wireless transmission. If wireless is being used and issues persist, a  Wi-Fi Booster could be added between the router and IPSTB1200/IPC3200 to boost Wi-Fi signal strength. Note, Wi-Fi performance will degrade with distance, number of walls traversed, construction materials, and congestion with other Wi-Fi devices.      The power indicator on the top front of the unit offers status.                        Indicator Wi-Fi light status Problem Solution   Green No problem. On mode. Normal operation. Unit is connected to the home network.    Off Standby mode or no power. Check for power (green light on rear of unit) and resume operation.                                                 Blinking white Wi-Fi pairing Wait while the unit attempts to pair with the home network. Follow on-screen messaging.                                                     Blinking red Poor or no Wi-Fi signal or Wi-Fi connection failure during Autoprovisioning only. Power the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 off and on: If the problem persists, relocate the IPSTB1200/IPC3200 closer to your   Gateway Router or use a  Wi-Fi Booster to boost Wi-Fi signal
