INSTRUCTION MANUAL :
Followmg is the procedure to learn the Key Fob in the MES IOOO‘
I Connect a PC running a terminal emulation program (it: Procomm or ZOC)
to the'Test Pon of the N'EBSIOOO via standard serial cable
2 .-\fter boot up messages. press  twice for LOGON screen to appear.
Log in as L'SER with and enter the L'SER password.
4 Select <4> in order to enter the USER CONFIGURATION screen.
5 Once in the USER CONFIGURATION screen, select <3> for KEY FOB
DECODER screen.
6 The top line on the screen is the Key Fob status line and it should read
"Key Fob decoder mode. ONLIN'E"
7 First. to erase all Ieamed transmitters. select <2> then type “YES" and
press . The Key Fob status line will briefly flash ‘ERASE".
8 To learn a new transmitter, select  then type "YES“ and press (Enter>.
The second line on the screen is the Key Fob learn status line. During the
learn process. the status will be in a "WAlTl' state. Once a transmitter is
keyed and detected by the decoder, the status will change to "WAITZ' state
Now key the transmitter a second time for the decoder to save the
transmitter ID into its EEPROM The Key Fob learn status line should flash
“SUCCESS" alter it has successfully learned a new transmitter.
9. If “TIME—OUT" appears on the Key Fob learn status line. the decoder was
not able to learn the new transmitter.
10 To test the new Key Fob. key the transmitter and the Key Fob status line
should briefly flash ‘DETECT'
Once the key fob has been learned. a message will be sent via the satellite
link that the key fob has been depressed.
CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer
responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment
