The Talkman product is separately approved for: 1. FCC Part 15 Subpart C 2. Industry Canada RSS-210 3. ETSI 300 328, EN 60950, EN 301 489-1/-17 The Talkman T5 is nominally a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Caution: Exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation. The Talkman T5 terminal contains an internal low-power radio. The radiated output power of the radio is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits. Nevertheless, the Talkman T5 terminal shall be used in such a manner that the potential for human contact with the radio antenna during normal operation is minimized. The terminal should not be used if the case is open or if the internal antenna is exposed. When not in use, the Talkman T5 terminal should be powered off. In addition, the terminal should be worn in accordance with the instructions for this device. Vocollect terminals are designed to be compliant with the rules and regulations in the locations into which they are sold and are labeled as required. Vocollect terminals are type approved and do not require the user to obtain license or authorization before using them. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Vocollect, Inc. could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003. In a domestic environment, this product may cause radio interference in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Made in the U.S.A. Vocollect Inc. Pittsburgh, PA Battery Information T-Series terminals are powered by batteries designed by, and specially made for Vocollect. The T5 battery is available in a high-capacity model. Only one battery is available for the T5 Terminal. Warning: Only the Vocollect Model # 730022 battery may be used with the T5 terminal. Use of any other battery is not allowed and may damage the terminal and the battery. Vocollect Part Numbers T5 High-Performance Battery Part # Model # #BT-700-1 730022 Belts & Belt Clips Operators wear terminals on a customized belt that is purchased from Vocollect. The terminal is attached to the belt with a specially designed clip. The clip is attached to the Vocollect belt at the beginning of a shift. Then, the operator can attach the terminal to and remove the terminal from the clip as often as necessary throughout the shift. Only one plastic belt clip is available for the T5 Terminal. The belts of different sizes do not contain metal. Vocollect sells three types of mounting clips: 1. T5 Black Belt Clip - This clip is used to connect a T5 terminal to the belt. 2. T2/T2x Slim Blue Belt Clip - This clip is used to connect a terminal to the customized belt. 3. T2/T2x Heavy Duty Belt Clip - This clip allows the operator to adapt an OPEN belt (sold with Vocollect's previous terminal) for use with a T2/T2x terminal. Note: T5 and T2/T2x belt clips are not interchangeable. The clip should be attached to the Vocollect belt at the beginning of a shift. Then, the operator can attach the terminal to and remove the terminal from the clip as often as necessary throughout the shift. • Vocollect strongly recommends that the terminal be worn on the right side of the body with the terminal’s buttons on the top and its connectors toward your back.
