Belts & Belt Clips
Operators wear terminals on a customized belt that is purchased from Vocollect. The terminal is
attached to the belt with a specially designed clip.
The clip is attached to the Vocollect belt at the beginning of a shift. Then, the operator can attach
the terminal to and remove the terminal from the clip as often as necessary throughout the shift.
Only one plastic belt clip is available for the T5 Terminal. The belts of different sizes do not
contain metal.
Vocollect sells three types of mounting clips:
1. T5 Black Belt Clip - This clip is used to connect a T5 terminal to the belt.
2. T2/T2x Slim Blue Belt Clip - This clip is used to connect a terminal to the customized belt.
3. T2/T2x Heavy Duty Belt Clip - This clip allows the operator to adapt an OPEN belt (sold
with Vocollect's previous terminal) for use with a T2/T2x terminal.
Note: T5 and T2/T2x belt clips are not interchangeable.

Product Notes
•
To comply with government safety standards, the terminal must be used with the
Vocollect belt and clip.
•
Operators must regard the belt clip and the terminal as two separate entities. The clip
should be attached to the Vocollect belt at the beginning of a shift. Then, the
operator can attach the terminal to and remove the terminal from the clip as often as
necessary throughout the shift.
•
Vocollect strongly recommends that the terminal be worn on the right side of the body
with the terminal’s buttons on the top and its connectors toward your back.
