Get ready for huge, booming sound!
The 808 Hex Encore Pro Party System has what you need to
take your party to the next level!
+ Multiple audio inputs that let you play music via USB,
Bluetooth, even the radio or a direct input.
+ Two microphone inputs that let you (and a friend!) sing
along, with one mic included. The second input even lets
you plug in your guitar!
+ Preset EQ settings that let you get exactly the sound you
want.
+ Bass boost that gives your music an extra kick!
+ Built-in multi-mode lighting that creates the ultimate
portable light show.
This guide takes you through the steps to get started!
Press Me and See!
What can a single button do? Press the BASS
button on the top of the Encore Pro to find out
for yourself—a big punch to your music, and a
light show with some serious wattage! Just play, press, and
pump it up!
Step 1: Unpack
Make sure the following items came in this package.

Step 2: Plug in the speaker
Attach one end of the AC power cord to the AC
MAINS jack on the back of the speaker.
Plug the other end of the power cord into a
working outlet or surge protector.
Step 3: Turn the speaker on
Press and hold the button on the top of the
speaker to turn it on.

Press the SOURCE button on the top of the
speaker to cycle through the available inputs:
USB “ _USB ”
RADIO “_TUN”
3.5mm “_AU_””
RCA “LINE”
BT “_BT_”
The display on the front of the speaker shows
you which audio source is currently playing.

To set up Bluetooth: Follow the instructions
below.
Note: You can also select the Bluetooth and FM
sources directly with the BT and FM buttons on
the top of the speaker.
Setting up Bluetooth
1. Press the BT button on the speaker. The display says “BT,”
then “NOBT” (if you haven’t paired it yet).
2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone or other audio device
If it isn’t already on, turn on the Bluetooth function of your device.
3. Select 808 Encore Pro from the list of devices
The display on the front of the speaker says “BT CONNECTD” when it’s
finished connecting to your phone.
Notes: If you don’t see 808 Encore Pro in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone,
choose “Scan” from your phone’s Bluetooth menu.
The process of enabling Bluetooth and connecting varies from device to device. See
your device’s owners manual for more information and specific instructions.
4. Start playing music on your device
The speaker starts streaming your music wirelessly.
Note: Make sure your device’s volume is set to at least 75%.
Bluetooth Wireless Connection Tips
• Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your device is turned on.
• Make sure Bluetooth is the source selected on the Encore Pro.
• Make sure there’s nothing plugged into the speaker’s Aux In or RCA In jacks when
you’re trying to use Bluetooth.
• The Bluetooth wireless connection works up to a range of roughly 33 feet (10 meters).
This range may vary, however, based on other factors, such as room layout, wall
material, obstacles, your device’s Bluetooth performance, etc. If you’re having problems
connecting to the speaker, move closer to it.
• If your device asks you for a password to connect, use “0000”.
Using EQ
This speaker has an EQ button that lets you select one of the preset
equalization settings (Rock, Jazz, Samba, Pop, Balance, and Funk) that
automatically adjust the equalization to enhance the sound for each type
of music.
To use one of the preset EQ settings: Press the EQ button to cycle
through the presets until you reach the setting you want to use. The front
display tells you the current setting.
Activating Bass Boost and Light Show
The Encore Pro speaker offers a Bass Boost feature that gives your music
a volume lift and bass punch. Press the BASS button on the top of the
speaker to toggle Bass Boost on and off. The BASS button also triggers
the Encore Pro light show effects on the speaker’s front.
Using the Microphone Inputs
The Encore Pro comes with a microphone you can use to sing along or
make announcements! Simply plug this provided microphone into the MIC1
jack on the top of the speaker and control the microphone volume with the
MIC1 VOLUME knob on the top of the speaker. You can add an echo effect
using the MIC1 ECHO knob under the volume knob. Start playback on any
of the audio sources and sing along!

The Encore Pro can accommodate a second microphone or a guitar as well
(not provided). Use the MIC2/GUITAR VOLUME knob to control this jack.
Using Two Encore Pros (BT Stereo)
If you have two Encore Pro speakers, you can use them together in stereo,
either with Bluetooth Wireless Stereo, or through a wired connection.
To set up a 2 Encore Pros via Bluetooth Stereo: Make sure the second
speaker is on. Press the BT STEREO button on the both speakers. The
displays on the speakers will say “HOST” and “SL” when connected. (Press
and hold BT STEREO on one speaker to disconnect.)
To set up a 2 Encore Pros via wired connection: Connect an RCA stereo
cable (not included) to the OUT L/R jacks on the back of one Encore Pro.
Connect the other end of this cable to the IN L/R jacks on the back of the
other Encore Pro. Press the SOURCE button on the second Encore Pro to
select the LINE IN input.
Using Dynamic Lighting
The LIGHTING dial on top of the speaker gives
you control over the built-in dynamic lighting on
the speaker’s front.

Press the LIGHTING dial to cycle through the
multiple lighting modes:
Always on: Turn the LIGHT dial to change
colors.
Dance: The light pulses and changes color to
the beat of your music.
Pulse: The light pulses to the beat of your
music (you might need to turn your music up!). Turn the LIGHT dial to
change colors.
Party: The light changes colors to the beat of the music.
Breath: The light gradually intensifies and diminishes. Turn the LIGHT
dial to change colors.
Chill: The light slowly goes through all the colors.
Off: Turns the front lighting off.
Turn the LIGHTING dial to cycle through the available colors for the Always
On, Pulse, and Breath modes.
In addition to the light modes available through the LIGHTING dial, the
speaker also features a “light show” mode, triggered by the BASS button.
Tour of the Encore Party System
MIC 1 and MIC 2/GUITAR jacks let
you connect up to two microphones
(including the provided mic) or guitar
to use with the speaker, for karaoke or
announcements.
AUX IN jack lets you connect to an
external audio device with a 3.5mm
audio cable. The speaker switches
automatically to LINE when you insert
the cable.
BT button switches to the Bluetooth
source (press) or starts the Bluetooth
pairing process (press and hold).
BT STEREO button switches to the
multi-speaker Bluetooth Stereo (press)
or starts the multi-speaker Bluetooth
Stereo setup process (press and hold).
MIC1 VOLUME dial adjusts the volume of
the MIC1 in microphone.
MIC1 ECHO dial adjusts the reverb effect
added to the microphone audio.
BASS button activates the bass boost
volume lift and light show. Press to turn
bass boost on/off.

USB-B CHARGING port provides
charging power to a USB-powered
device. This jack does not support
playback.

or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from
the date of original purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned product (at the Company’s
option) without charge for parts and repair labor. To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of the warranty, the product
