Introduction

The VTech® Little Faces Learning MirrorTM supports baby’s selfdiscovery. Pressing the light-up animal buttons encourages baby to
find her ears, eyes and hair by looking into the mirror. Sliding the cute
bear speeds up or slows down playful melodies. Bright colors, flashing
lights and fun phrases create an imaginative role-play experience for
your baby.

GETTING STARTED

BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. 	 Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. 	 Locate the battery cover on the bottom
of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen
the screw.

the battery box. (The use of new
alkaline batteries is recommended for
maximum performance.)

•	 Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
•	 Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before
being charged (if removable).
•	 Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision (if removable).
•	 Do not mix old and new batteries.
•	 Do not mix batteries of different types: alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
•	 Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used.
•	 Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
•	 Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
•	 The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
•	 The toy is not to be connected to more than the recommended
number of power supplies.
•	 Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

To turn the unit ON, slide the OFF/VOLUME
SWITCH to the low volume (

SWITCH to the OFF ( ) position.

2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
	

To preserve battery life, the VTech® Little Faces Learning
Mirror™ will automatically power-down after approximately 30
seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing
any button.

ACTIVITIES

Open the mirror to hear a fun sing-along
song and encouraging phrase. Close the mirror to hear a funny short
tune and to turn the unit off.
2. Press the pony, kitten or bunny buttons
to hear fun animal sounds, phrases to
encourage self-discovery and melodies.
The lights will flash with the sounds.
When a melody is playing press the
animal buttons to jam animal sounds
onto the melody. Slide the bear to
change the tempo of the music.

Activities

1. Slide the OFF/VOLUME SWITCH to the
low or high volume position to turn on
the unit on. You will hear a fun sing-along
song and encouraging phrases. The
lights will flash with the sounds.

3.	 Slide the bear when a melody is not
playing to hear fun sounds and phrases.
The lights will flash with the sounds.
4. 	Slide the bear quickly to hear fun giggle
sounds, and see the light-up buttons
flash one by one. Stop sliding the bear
to hear a phrase from the corresponding

animal button the light has landed on. The lights will flash with the
sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.	 Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2.	 Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source.
3.	 Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an
extended period of time.
4.	 Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.

Troubleshooting

If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow
these steps:
1. 	 Please turn the unit OFF.
2. 	 Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. 	 Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. 	 Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. 	 If the product still does not work, replace with an entire set of new
batteries.
