NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against

4. to Set Up:
Battery Installation:
NOTE: Batteries may be installed as a backup when AC adapter cannot be used.
1. Remove the Battery Compartment Cover by pushing the tab away from the speaker.
2. Insert 4 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included), observing the proper polarity (+/−) as indicated inside the
Battery Compartment, and then replace the Cover.
Power Adapter:
Insert the small end of the AC Adapter into the Jack in the back of the unit and plug the other end into a
standard 110-volt AC electrical outlet.
5. Usage:
A. to Turn on:
• Slide the ON/OFF Button to ON to turn the speaker on.
B. Bluetooth Button
• Not pressing any button and SPK-90A enters into Connecting Mode. It then starts to search for
the last connected device/devices.
• If SPK-90A could not search for the last connected device after 6 seconds, it enters Idle Mode
• Press this button for more than 2 seconds, SPK-90A enters into Discoverable Mode
NOTE: SPK-90A will stay in search mode when there is no previous connecting device.
Discoverable Mode has to be manually switched to enter.
C. Terms of Definition:
• Connecting Mode:
SPK-90A enters connecting mode automatically once it is turned on. SPK-90A connects
actively to the last device in this mode. The LED light will be flashing in RED before
connection. When connected, it will stay on in BLUE.
• Discoverable Mode:
SPK-90A will stay discoverable and is searchable by other Bluetooth compatible devices
passively. The LED light will be flashing in RED before connection. When connected, it will
stay on in BLUE.
• Connected Mode:
SPK-90A is connected with a Bluetooth Compatible Device and is read to stream music. The
LED light stays on in BLUE under this mode.
• Idle Mode;
SPK-90A is not discoverable but still can be connected to the devices which are paired before.
As it is not discoverable, the connection initialization is triggered from the Bluetooth
Compatible Device. The LED light will be flashing in RED under this mode.
D. Pairing
• Press and Hold the Bluetooth Button for 3 seconds, then release when 2 beep tones are heard
with the LED light flashing. SPK-90A enters into Discoverable Mode
• Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your mobile compatible device. Search for SPK-90A. Pair and
connect to SPK-90A. If prompted for passcode, enter 0000. If pairing is successful, the LED
light will stay on in BLUE.
NOTE: Above are general steps to pair to a Bluetooth device, for more specific instructions on
Bluetooth connectivity for your device, please consult your Bluetooth Compatible Device’s
manual.
E. Volume:
• To turn up the volume, press the Volume Up Button
• To turn down the volume, press the Volume Down Button
NOTE: Volume can also be adjusted on your Bluetooth Compatible Device, consult your
Bluetooth Compatible Device’s manual for instructions.
F. Reconnection
• Reconnection is available to the last connected or previously connected device.
 Press the Bluetooth Button once it is turned on.
Initiate a connection from your Bluetooth Compatible device when the speaker is not
connected to any device.
G. Switching between Paired Devices
• Switch between your current connected device to your previous connected device by pressing
the Bluetooth Button once.
NOTE: Ensure that your next paired device’s Bluetooth feature is ON and is ready to accept
connections.
H. Play/Pause, Skip Forward, Skip Backward
• Music is manipulated by your Bluetooth Compatible Device.
NOTE: To control the music consult your Bluetooth Compatible Device’s manual for
instructions.
I. Playback with other Audio Devices via AUX IN
• Prepare Auxiliary Wire to connect the Device and SPK-90A
• Connect the Device and SPK-90A with the Auxiliary Wire.
• Play and control the music with your mobile device.
