Remove them from charger, they will turn on automatically. If they don't, press the button for 1 second. Both earpieces should be connected to each other. Choose one earpiece to connect to. Press the button on that earpiece for 3 seconds to find your earpiece. 4 - cuatro - quattro - quatro - quatre - четыре - 四 9:41 Settings Bluetooth STATUS Bluetooth MY DEVICES Apple Watch Pilot-R Macbook Pro Connected Connected Not Connected Pilot Speech Translator Download at: pilot.link Turn on Bluetooth on your device. Pair only the chosen earpiece in your device settings. You should hear "Pilot Connected". Now both earpieces should be ready to use. Download the Pilot Speech Translator app and start your first conversation. 5 - cinco - cinque - cinco - cinq - пять - 五 FITTING YOUR PILOT NOTE This feature should align with the contour of your ear Insert the earpiece with the tip pointed down. 6 - seis - sei - seis - six - шесть - 六 Rotate the earpiece towards the back of your ear to lock it in place. EARTIPS For better comfort and fit we included 3 ear-tips that adapt to the shape of the ear canal. REPLACING AN EAR TIP Carefully remove the ear tip by tilting and rotating the base. 1) Place the ear tip’s base cylinder at 45 degrees in relation to the earpiece nuzzle. 2) Rotate 180 degrees to get it inside properly. 3) Adjust the ear-tip's position at your preference. Normally the longer sides should be vertical to the ground, so it matches the ear canal's shape. 7 - siete - sette - sete - sept - семь - 七 MUSIC CONTROLS The button on each pilot earpiece can be used to control music. COMMAND Play/Pause Press Once Skip Track Press Twice CALLS Pilot can also be used to answer calls. COMMAND Accept Call Press Once Reject Call Press and Hold End Call Press and Hold During Call 8 - ocho - otto - oito - huit - восемь - 八 Warning! Remember to listen to your devices at a safe volume! Alternatively placing them on the charger case also turns them OFF. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the earpieces will automatically turn off to save battery. Solid Red LEDs show that they are charging. When fully charged, the LEDs turn solid white, and then turn off. The storage temperatures is -10°C~45°C. 13 - trece - tredici - treize - treze - тринадцать - 十三 FAQs How long does the battery last? The battery life of your Pilot depends on usage. It lasts approximately 4 hours while playing music/talking. The accompanying charger provides 3-4 additional charges. To save battery, the Pilot has a power saving mode. What is power saving mode? After 5 minutes of inactivity, the earpieces will turn off automatically, saving power for when it’s needed and avoiding a full discharge. Can I use only one earpiece? Yes, you only need one earpiece to use all the functions normally. How do I charge the earpieces? Make sure you place the Right and Left earpiece on their corresponding side of the charger. When the earpieces are charging, the red light will show up. Please refer to our charging section (page 10) for more information. What is an Over the Air (OTA) update? You can update your Pilot remotely via the Pilot app to get more exciting features in the future. 14 - catorce - quattordici - catorze - quatorze - четырнадцать - 十四 Is the Pilot waterproof? Your Pilot is IP42 certified, meaning that it is dust resistant and resistant to mild moisture and sweat. How do I keep my Pilot clean? The polished surface of Pilot makes it easy to clean; a damp paper towel should be enough to clean it. You can also remove the eartips if needed for further cleaning. How do I wear them? Please refer to page 6 for a visual guide. Can I pair with computers and other Bluetooth devices ? Yes, you can pair to any Bluetooth 2.1 and above enabled device. However, the translation feature will only be enabled within the Pilot app which requires an iOS or Android device. Why is it called the Pilot? What does this warranty cover? Waverly Labs Inc. (“Waverly Labs” or “us” or “we”) warrant that the Pilot device (including earpiece(s) and charger) and any other Waverly Labs devices contained in the original packaging (the “Product”) shall be free against any material defects in production, materials, or workmanship when used in a reasonable manner and as subject to the terms contained in this Limited Warranty, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase directly from Waverly Labs (the “Warranty Duration”). This Limited Warranty only extends to the end-user of the Product. Proof of purchase is required in order to process a claim under this Limited Warranty. What is not covered? This Warranty does not apply to any Product that has been modified, serviced, or altered by anyone who is not authorized by us to perform such activities. Although this Warranty covers manufacturing defects, it does not cover damages that the Product may have sustained in shipping or transit to the end user. We do not guarantee that the Product will be completely error-free, nor are we responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Product’s use.
