Make sure your Pilot earpieces are
charged. Remove them from char-

For better comfort and t we included 3 ear-tips that adapt to the shape of the ear canal.
REPLACING AN EAR TIP
Carefully remove the ear tip by tilting and rotating the base.
1) Place the ear tip’s base cylinder at 45 degrees in relation to the earpiece nuzzle.
2) Rotate 180 degrees to get it inside properly.
3) Adjust the ear-tip's position at your preference. Normally the longer sides should be
vertical to the ground, so it matches the ear canal's shape.

To turn ON the earpieces press the button for 2 seconds.
To turn OFF the earpieces press the button for 5 seconds.
Alternatively placing them on the charger case also turns
them OFF.
Aer 5 minutes of inactivity, the earpieces will automatically
turn o to save battery.
Conveniently, pressing 5 seconds on one earpiece will turn o
both earpieces.

To charge the earbuds, place them into the portable case.
Solid Red LEDs show that they are charging. When fully
charged, the LEDs turn solid white, and then turn o.
The charger provides 3-4 full charges of the earpieces.

back of the device. The corresponding number of LEDs will

FAQs
How long does the battery last?
The battery life of your Pilot depends on usage. It lasts approximately 4 hours
while playing music/talking. The accompanying charger provides 3-4 addi-
tional charges. To save battery, the Pilot has a power saving mode.
What is power saving mode?
Aer 5 minutes of inactivity, the earpieces will turn o automatically, saving
power for when it’s needed and avoiding a full discharge.
Can I use only one earpiece?
Yes, you only need one earpiece to use all the functions normally.
How do I charge the earpieces?
Make sure you place the Right and Le earpiece on their corresponding side
of the charger. When the earpieces are charging, the red light will show up.
Please refer to our charging section (page 10) for more information.
What is an Over the Air (OTA) update?
You can update your Pilot remotely via the Pilot app to get more exciting
features in the future.

Is the Pilot waterproof?
Your Pilot is IP42 certied, meaning that it is dust resistant and resistant to
mild moisture and sweat.
How do I keep my Pilot clean?
The polished surface of Pilot makes it easy to clean; a damp paper towel
should be enough to clean it. You can also remove the eartips if needed for
further cleaning.
How do I wear them?
Please refer to page 6 for a visual guide.
Can I pair with computers and other Bluetooth devices ?
Yes, you can pair to any Bluetooth 2.1 and above enabled device. However, the
translation feature will only be enabled within the Pilot app which requires an
iOS or Android device.
Why is it called the Pilot?
Because it helps you navigate dierent languages (Babel Fish was taken).

IMPORTANT: BY USING PILOT, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THE WAVERLY LABS PILOT
ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (“WARRANTY”) AS SET OUT BELOW. DO NOT USE YOUR PRODUCT
UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE
WARRANTY, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT AND RETURN IT WITHIN THE RETURN PERIOD STATED IN OUR
RETURN POLICY (FOUND AT http://www.waverlylabs.com/return-policy/).
What does this warranty cover?
Waverly Labs Inc. (“Waverly Labs” or “us” or “we”) warrant that the Pilot device (including earpiece(s)
and charger) and any other Waverly Labs devices contained in the original packaging (the “Product”)
shall be free against any material defects in production, materials, or workmanship when used in a
reasonable manner and as subject to the terms contained in this Limited Warranty, for a period of one
(1) year from the date of original purchase directly from Waverly Labs (the “Warranty Duration”). This
Limited Warranty only extends to the end-user of the Product. Proof of purchase is required in order to
process a claim under this Limited Warranty.
What is not covered?
This Warranty does not apply to any Product that has been modied, serviced, or altered by anyone
who is not authorized by us to perform such activities. Although this Warranty covers manufacturing
defects, it does not cover damages that the Product may have sustained in shipping or transit to the
end user. We do not guarantee that the Product will be completely error-free, nor are we responsible
for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Product’s use. This Warranty
does not cover any soware contained within the Product. Further, this Warranty does not apply to
damage or defects caused by (1) accident, abuse, mishandling, dropping, ood, re, earthquake or

other external causes; (2) WATER AND/OR FOOD SPILLAGE DAMAGE; (3) normal wear and tear (including
cosmetic damage) unless caused by a manufacturing or workmanship defect; (4) improper storage;
(5) improper testing or unauthorized repair, including, without limitation, any damage caused by the
end-user opening the physical Product hardware; and (6) operation of the Product (a) using improper
voltage or power supply or (b) not in accordance with our instructions. All consumable components
subject to regular wear and tear, including battery, ear tips, and other accessories are not covered
by this Warranty. Further, this Warranty does not apply if the factory-applied serial number has been
altered or destroyed.
How do I have my warranty claim processed?
Please follow the directions contained in our Return Policy (http://www.waverlylabs.com/return-pol-
icy/), contacting support@waverlylabs.com. In accordance with the Return Policy, we may repair or
replace the Product or issue you a refund, depending on the circumstance.
Local Law, Limitations
IMPORTANT: This Warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state, province to province, or country to country. For a full understanding of your
rights, consult your local law.Waverly Labs shall (subject to applicable local law) not be liable for inci-
dental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, prots, or data resulting
from breach of any express or implied warranty or any indirect or consequential damages.To the extent
permitted by law, this Warranty and the remedies set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other
warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied. We disclaim
all statutory and implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability and
tness for a particular purpose and warranties against hidden or latent defects, to the extent permit-
ted by law. Insofar as such warranties cannot be disclaimed, we hereby limit the duration and remedies

of such warranties to the duration of this express limited Warranty and, at our option, the repair or
replacement services described below. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an

Exposure to Radio Frequency Radiation. The installer of this radio equipment must ensure that the
antenna is located or pointed such that it does not emit RF eld in excess of Health Canada limits for
the general population. Consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada’s website http://www.
hc-sc.ca.
This equipment complies with Industry Canada radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncon-
trolled environment. End user must follow the specic operating instructions for satisfying RF expo-
sure compliance. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter. The device is designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves
established by the Industry Canada. These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one
gram of tissue. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certication for
