KWT OPERATION with software ver 1.8
ISSUING DOOR CONTROL COMMANDS
To issue door control command do as follow:
1. Enter the four digit user code. If a single door was being supported then the door number
need not be entered. The four digit access code would Stan/stop the door. (Keypresses are confirmed
by theyellow LED.)
2. lfsupporting more then one door then enter the door number <1 .. 4> at this
time.
3. The green LED will turn on after the correct code is entered. For up to 20 seconds ifany key is
pressed a toggle command would be sent to the same door.
4. ll'a mistake was made while entering the password then the Re-starl key can he pressed to start
entering the code from the begining. The keypad is active for 30 seconds afler the last key was
pressed.
The KWT will not acknowledge keypresses after 5 digit invalid code entry.
CHANGING USER CODE
(The RF code will remain the same address)
There are two ways to change the user code via current user code or via system code.
The default code alter manufacturing is 1234,
CHANGING USER CODE IF CURRENT USER CODE IS KNOWN
l- Enter the " key,
24 Enter the four digit user access code.
3- Enter the ‘ key, The yellow LED will flash three times to acknowledge entry into the
programming mode.
4- Enter the new 4 digit user code.
5- Enter the number ofdoors supported .
l = A single door
2 = 2 doors
3 e 3 doors
4 = 4 doors
6- Enter the it key. theyellow LED will flash three times.
The new code was learned.
CHANGING USER CODE IF CURRENT USER CODE IS NOT KNOWN
(The RF code will automatically change to new addresses.)
1- Enter the " key
2- Enter the four digit system code {9999}
3— Enter the ‘ key. The yellow LED will flash three times to acknowledge entry into the
programming mode,
4- Enter the new 4 digit user code.
5- Enter the number of doors supported <1 .. 4>,

6- Enter the # key. the yellow LED will turn on steady for 2 seconds. then it will
flash two times. The new code was Icamed.
If at any time during the programing mode an error was made to rc-start, hit the Re-start key.

RE-STA RT KE Y
The Re-slart key allows the user to enter a door command for a different door or go imp programming mode
at any time during the keypad operation. The re-slan also applies power the first time the keypad is going to
be used. Power will remain on for 30 seconds afier the last key was pressed.
LOW BATT E RV
When the Re-slarl key is pressed and a low battery condition is present the yellow LED will blink until
either a key is pressed or the 30 second timeoul for the power is reached.
