WHAT is THe PROGLiNk™?
ProgLink is a wireless adapter for programming Widex hearing aids that is
used with Otovation’s OTOPod M2 diagnostic audiometer.
The ProgLink can be added to an existing OTOPod M2 and used with
Compass to perform a wireless fitting of Clear™ and future wireless hear-
ing aids from Widex.
WIRELESS FITTING WITH THE PROGLINK
The ProgLink was developed to make wireless programming of Widex
hearing aids available for OTOPod users. The ProgLink is plugged into
the OTOPod’s programming ports, and connects with Compass™ so that
Widex hearing aids can be programmed without the need for hearing aid
cables.
Adding the ProgLink adapter to the OTOPod
If necessary, remove the neck string from the plastic clip on each side
of the OTOPod
Grasp the ProgLink plug and carefully insert it into the top end of
the OTOPod where the left and right hearing aid programming cable
connectors are located.

WHICH HEARING AIDS CAN BE PROGRAMMED WIRELESSLY WITH THE
OTOPOD AND PROGLINK?
All Widex CLEAR440 and more recent hearing aids with wireless technol-
ogy from Widex are fitted wirelessly with the OTOPod with ProgLink. Use
Compass 5.3 or a later version.
The OTOPod also supports fitting with cables for models where cable fit-
ting is an option. Connect the usual cables to the OTOPod (after removing
the ProgLink) to perform the programming of these hearing aids.
