(market feedback)Implementation of a “key-lock” slide switch on the side of the product. (market feedback)Update the product to use the Coyote wLink ICUpdate the coating to be more durable. (market feedback)Add a “blind dot” to volume “+” keyFeasibility study to evaluate if adding rubber coating to program button makes it more distinct from the other keys.Evaluate the option to implement wire bonding of the wLink IC (Coyote) and if feasible do the implementation. A key-lock slider is added on the side.1.3 Hearing aid compatibilityThe device must be compatible with CLEAR and DREAM hearing aids and other wLink compatible Widexhearing aids.1.4 Functional Buttons(Functions unchanged from original design)Program button: The device has a button which can change the hearing aid program remotely.Volume up button: The device has a button which can change the hearing aid volume up.Volume down button: The device has a button which can change the hearing aid volume down.Please note: Requiredproduct label is missing inthese illustrations
This document may not be shown to any unauthorized person without the express permission of Widex A/S.1.5 ”Key lock” switchThe new version of RC DEX has a two position sliding switch to enable or disable transmissionof signals to the hearing aid(s).1.6 LED indicationA LED lights up green color through a light guide to the top of the device.2 User interface requirements2.1 “key-lock” switch requirementThe functionality of the key-lock switch is:If the “key-lock” switch is in “OFF” position the functional buttons does not change hearingaid setting.If the “key-lock” switch is in “ON” position the functional buttons are active and works asdescribed in 2.4.The switch must be placed on the right hand side optimally placed for operation with righthand tomb.A red marking appear in “OFF” position and a green mark appear in “ON” position.The switch slides to either “ON” or “OFF” position and stays in that position until the userslides it to the opposite position.Button feeling:Push/Pull force and mechanical function is described in Mechanical requirement section.2.2 LED indicator requirementsThe device has one green LED to indicate activation of the functional buttons when “key-lock”slider is in “ON” position.3 INTERFERENCE INFORMATION :"This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s).Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this devicemust accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.Le présent appareil est conforme aux CNR d'Industrie Canada applicables aux appareils radio exempts de licence.L'exploitation est autorisée aux deux conditions suivantes : (1) l'appareil ne doit pas produire de brouillage, et (2)l'utilisateur de l'appareil doit accepter tout brouillage radioélectrique subi, même si le brouillage est susceptible d'encompromettre le fonctionnement.""
