S py B ug requires  two (2) 9-Volt (6LR 61) batteries (not included).  One battery is for the Bug Unit and one battery is for the Receiver Unit.2. Locate the battery compartment on the base of each unit. Us e a small Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screw, and remove the battery cover. 3. R emove exhausted batteries.4. P lace new batteries in the compartments as  s hown (figs. 1 & 2).5. R eplace the battery covers and tighten the s crews.Attention Adults – To Assemble the Spy Bug for First Time Use.1. Ins ert the Hinge on the bottom of the Sonic Dish into the hole at the rear of the Bug Unit Base (fig. 3).2. Make sure that the Two Wires are inserted fully into the hole.3. P ush down on the S onic Dish until the hinge clicks  into place.To Set the Spy Bug1. P lace the Bug Unit in the room where you would like to listen.2. P res s the Activation Button. The Sonic Dish will open (fig. 4).3. E xtend the Antenna until it holds in place.4. Move up to 75ft away from the S py B ug.5. Turn the Receiver Unit to ON and set the volume to a low level.6. P lace the Ear Bud in your ear.7. Increas e the volume until you can hear clearly.To Retrieve the Spy Bug1. P ush the Antenna down until it clicks into place.2.
