RF220 Wireless Keyboard

KEYBOARD
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install Battery. Insert two AA alkaline batteries
(included) in keyboard’s battery compartment.
2, Connect Receiver. Plug the receiver into your
computer’s USB port. If you see a series 0
questions about USB drivers, press Enter to
accept the standard USB drivers in Windows.
Tip: Do not place receiver in an equipment
cabinet or near other strong EMl sources.
3. Set Address. Press and release the momentary
switch on the underside of the receiver. While
the green LED on the receiver blinks, press the
Fn and A keys on the keyboard. This matches
the keyboard’s address to the receiver's. To set
more than one Wireless Computing device to
operate this computer, set the address on each
additional within 30 seconds of the previous.
4. For Macintosh Only. To set the keyboard to
Macintosh mode, press the Left-Win, Left-Alt,
Right-Win and Right-Alt keys at the same time.
Next, detach the Win, Alt, and Pause/Break
keycaps from the keyboard. Replace with
Command, Option/Alt and F13 keycaps as
shown below.
OPERATION
The RF-220 is designed to operate reliably at
distances of 100 feet (31 meters) or more. Pressing
a key or moving the mouse stick will blink the
‘sending’ LED on the keyboard and the LED on the
receiver.
Operating range will vary depending on positioning
of the receiver and keyboard, nearby sources of
interference, and other factors.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Green LED on receiver is not lit
- Ensure computer is powered on and receiver is
connected to computer’s USB port.
v Unplug the receiver and plug it in again.
Keys don’t go through or mouse doesn’t
move
a If the ‘sending’ LED on the keyboard does not
flash when you press a key, replace the battery.
0 If the ‘sending’ LED flashes red, reposition the
receiver and ensure it is within 100 feet of the
keyboard. If the problem persists, reset the
address.
0 it the ’sending’ LED flashes green but the
computer does not respond, unplug the receiver
and plug it in again.
Windows Start menu opens when press Alt
0 Keyboard is in Macintosh mode. Change to
Windows mode by pressing Left-Win, Left-Alt,
Right-Win and Right-Alt keys all at the same.
On Mac, Option and Command keys reversed
' Keyboard is in Windows mode. Change to
Macintosh mode by pressing Left-Option, Left-
Cmd, Right-Cmd and Right-Option keys all at
the same.
Cursor moves by itself, or keystrokes appear
“from nowhere"
- The address of your receiver may be the same
as the address of another Wireless Computing
device within range. Reset your receiver's
address.
