Preinstalled integrated wireless featuresThe wireless LAN feature, the Bluetooth feature, and the wireless WAN feature arepreinstalled by Lenovo®. If the wireless features require replacement during warrantythey must be serviced by a Lenovo authorized servicer.II. Exposure to Radio Frequency RadiationThe radiated output power of your computer is below the FCC radio frequencyexposure limits. Nevertheless, it should be used in such a manner that the potentialfor human contact is minimized during normal operation of your computer.CAUTION:The radiated energy from the antennas conforms to the FCC limit of the SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) requirement regarding 47 CFR Part 2 Section 1093, whenthe computer operates in the conventional setting. To avoid the possibility ofexceeding the FCC radio frequency exposure limits, human proximity to theantennas should not be less than 2.5 cm (1 inch). For example, you are requested tobe careful when you carry your computer while the wireless feature is turned on.2
The transmission antenna of the wireless LAN feature and the Bluetooth feature islocated at the top center of the LCD cover. The transmission antenna of the wirelessWAN feature is located at the top right corner of the LCD cover.III. IV. Simultaneous use of RF transmittersYour computer is approved for simultaneous use of the integrated wireless WAN andBluetooth transmitters.Note: The integrated wireless WAN and wireless LAN transmitters do not operatesimultaneously.Make sure of the following conditions when you use any other external wirelessoption device:1. When you use any other RF option device, you are requested to confirm that thedevice conforms to the RF Safety requirement and is approved to use for yourcomputer.2. You must follow the RF Safety instructions of wireless option devices that areincluded in the user manual of the RF option device.3. If wireless options are prohibited to use in conjunction with another transmitters,you must turn off all other wireless features in your computer.4
