IfyoundtheFCCID:PU5-TP00045A1WDonthelabelatthebottomsideofyour
tablet,yourtabletemploysadigitizerfunctionwhichisabletosensetheDigitizer
Penshippedassociatedwithyourtablet.Thedigitizeremitsextralowpowerradio
frequencyandcomplieswiththeFCCPart15SubpartC.
AlsothedigitizerhasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsfortheClass

ExposuretoRadioFrequencyRadiation
TheradiatedoutputpowerofyourtabletisbelowtheFCCradiofrequency
exposurelimits.Nevertheless,itshouldbeusedinsuchamannerthatthe
potentialforhumancontactisminimizedduringnormaloperationofyourtablet.
CAUTION:
TheradiatedenergyfromtheantennasconformstotheFCClimitoftheSAR
(SpecicAbsorptionRate)requirementregarding47CFRPart2Section1093,
whenthetabletoperatesintheconventionalsetting.TheSARisdetermined
tomeasureatthehighestpowerlevelineachfrequencyband.However,the
actualSARlevelofThindPadHelixintheoperationbandsiswellbelowthe
maximumvalueinsomemeasurementplots.BecauseThindPadHelixadjusts
thecellulartransmissionpowerautomaticallybasedupontheproximityto
thehumanbodyandorientation.Namely,thecloserdistancetoyoufrom
ThindPadHelixwilllowerthecellulartransmissionpowerlevel.ThindPad
HelixhasbeentestedandfoundtomeettheFCCRFexposureguidelines.
ToknowthelocationoftransmissionantennasforthewirelessLANcardandthe
wirelessWANcard,see“LocationoftheUltraConnectwirelessantennas”inthe
UserGuide.
EmergencyCalls
ThewirelessWANfeaturedoesnotsupportvoicecalls,hencetheirusefor
essentialcommunicationisnotpossible,includingemergencycallsregarding
theE911rule.
SimultaneoususeofRFtransmitters
YourtabletisapprovedforsimultaneoususeoftheintegratedwirelessLAN,
wirelessWANandBluetoothtransmitters.
Makesureofthefollowingconditionswhenyouuseanyotherexternalwireless
optiondevice:
•WhenyouuseanyotherRFoptiondevice,youarerequestedtoconrmthat
thedeviceconformstotheRFSafetyrequirementandisapprovedtousefor
yourtablet.
•YoumustfollowtheRFSafetyinstructionsofwirelessoptiondevicesthatare
