Manual Information to the End User
The OEM integrator has to be aware not to provide information to the end user
regarding how to install or remove this RF module in the user’s manual of the end
product which integrates this module. The end user manual shall include all required
regulatory information/warning as show in this manual.
Installation and Operation Guide of Digitizer
(Model: SU8E-11H04MI-01A)
The Digitizer unit is developed for use in the specific host computer, Lenovo Tablet PC
(Model: TP00065A / Canadian Model: TP00065AUC).
The device is furnished inside the host computer in a factory, so end users do not
need to install it.
And it will work automatically without any customization or specific professional
operation. Refer to separate specification for more details.
The final end product (host computer) must be labeled in a viewable area with the
following wording or any other similar one that expresses the same meaning.
Contains Modular Transmitter:
FCC ID: PU5-TP00065AWD
IC: 4182A-TP00065AWD
And OEM integrator is subjected to the following conditions hereafter.
Canada - Industrie Canada (IC)
Low power license-exempt radiocommunication devices
(RSS-210)
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
• This device may not cause interference.
1/4
• This device must accept any interference, including interference that may
cause undesired operation of the device.
Appareils de radio-communication basse tension sans licence
d'utilisation (CNR-210)
Exposure of humans to RF fields (RSS-102)
The device is able to sense the Digitizer Pen shipped associated with the OEM
computer. The device does not emit RF field in excess of Health Canada limits for the
general population; consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada's Web site
at http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/
The RF field of the device is far below the RSS-102 radio frequency exposure limit,
because the limit is equal to the Class B digital apparatus regarding Canadian
ICES-003.
Therefore, the device is not subjected to any RF exposure requirement. And it may be
co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter if the OEM
integrator confirms the final end product (host computer) conforms to ICES-003 Class
B in system level.
You are cautioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void your authority to operate the equipment.
