The system controls are located on the top of the Cloud Book Music System. You can also use the Cloud Book App. The system shows information via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, TF, Aux and charging indicator. Preparation Preparation Connecting the system to power Controlling and using the App Setting up the Cloud Book App After connecting the system to power, download and install the Cloud Book App to a smart-phone or tablet that is connected to your network. 1. Download and install the Cloud Book App. If this is your first time setting up a Cloud Book system, you must first download and install the Cloud Book App. Power: Press to power the system on/off. Press to search and connect to Wi-Fi network. Hold down for 3 seconds to disconnect Wi-Fi network. Hold down for 10 seconds to restore factory settings. Set favorite music or radio stations. Blinking Blue Connecting to Wi-Fi network Press to choose play mode. Solid Blue Connected to Wi-Fi network Press to answer/end a phone call. Hold down to reject a phone call. Solid Blue TF card mode Solid Blue Auxiliary in mode Solid Red Charging Solid Green Fully charged Blinking White Loading Solid White Successfully loaded Note: If part of the system is damaged, or missing, do not use it. How to connect to Wi-Fi Message on the display Note: The Cloud Book App is offered to all iOS and Android users for smart-phones and tablets only. Remark: 1. A fully charged battery provides approximately 12 hours of use at medium volume. The rate of battery discharge varies with the volume setting and music types. 2. To extend the battery playback time, reduce the volume. 3. When the battery charge drops bellow 10% capacity, please recharge it. 4. The speaker will automatically shut off when there is no audio input in 20 minutes. iOS user: Search uCloudBook and download from App Store. Android user: Search uCloud Book and download form Google Play. 2. Connect the system to your home Wi-Fi network. After you install the App,add the system to your network(2.4GHz). On your smart-phone or tablet,select to launch the App. Follow the instructions in the App to complete setup. uCloudBook Remark: Please connect your device to a 2.4GHz Router. If your router is double module,please connect your device to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi SSID name. You can connect to two or more speaker systems to change the left and right channel or stereo sound via the Cloud Book App. uCloudBook Start music journey Controlling and using the App Next 2. Play different songs from different devices. Enjoy music in different rooms all with control on the Cloud Book App. 3. Multi-Mode: Press and hold the device icon for two seconds, then drag it towards another device to pair them on the Cloud Book App. This way the same song can be played on multiple speaker systems. 4. Solo-Mode: Press and hold the device icon, then drag it down past the dotted line to disconnect the connection between the two speaker systems. Search 2. Turn on the system. System enters Cloud Play mode automatically. 2. Enable WLAN on your device and choose DOSS_CloudBook_xxxx from the list. 3. Pair the devices. 4. Adjust a suitable volume to play music. With Wi-Fi network 1. Once the speaker is connected to your home Wi-Fi network, Wi-Fi direct connect function is disabled. To disconnect the speaker from your home Wi-Fi network, long press the WPS button on top of the speaker for three seconds (together with a BEE prompt) to enter Wi-Fi direct connect mode. 2. The system will automatically enter TF Card Play Mode. You can also press M Mode on the top of the system, or select TF Card Play Mode in the Cloud Book App. Once TF mode is selected, the TF indicator will become solid blue. TF Card Play Mode will only work when a TF Card is inserted into the system and there is at least one song available to be played. Move system or audio source closer to the wireless router or access point. Ensure system volume is not too low. Unplug the power cord, reconnect after one minute to charge the system. Make sure your device and the speaker are synced to the same Wi-Fi network. Auxiliary in mode play Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (included). 1. Connect any audio device to the system. 2. The system will switch to Auxiliary Line in Mode automatically. 3. Adjust a suitable volume to play music. Fail to stream audio to the speaker via Airplay, DLNA protocol Reminder: The speaker supports most media play Apps with DLNA and Apple Airplay protocols. Enter the Media play Apps and stream audio directly to the speaker system (Wi-Fi direct only). 17 Important safety instructions Trouble shooting Make sure your system is on. Connect the system to power the battery if necessary. Select a correct network name and enter password. Connect your device and Cloud Book system to the same Wi-Fi network. Enable Wi-Fi on the device you are using for set up. Test your internet connection by loading www.dossaudio.com. Restart your mobile device and router (2.4GHz router only). Uninstall the app, reset the system, and restart set up. 2. How to select a song from my TF card to play: Enter Cloud Book App Home Page. Click My TF card. Select the song you want to play. 16 Trouble shooting Enter the Media play App that supports Airplay or DLNA. Select the speaker system in the Media Play App menu. Ensure the device is playing. Increase its volume. Stream audio to the speaker system with or without Wi-Fi network. Restart your mobile device. Reconnect your mobile device with the speaker system. 18 Fail to connect Bluetooth Could not play TF card music Cloud not play Auxiliary in music Important safety instructions Important safety instructions Make sure your system is on. Connect the system to power the battery if necessary. Enabled Bluetooth function on your device. Select Bluetooth Mode on the system or App. Make sure the system and your device distance is within 10meters/33ft and there is no other obstacles to block the signal. Make sure a TF card is inserted into the system. Make sure there is at least one song on the TF Card. If the speaker does not enter TF mode automatically, press the M Button on the top of the system or select TF Card Play Mode in the Cloud Book App. Please make sure the system is well connected to your device. If the speaker does not enter Auxiliary Mode automatically, press the M Button on the top of the system or choose Auxiliary Mode in the Cloud Book App. Play music on your device and adjust a suitable volume. Restart the system, and retry. A lot of noise Turn off the system and restart. Press the M Button on the top of the system or select Play Mode in the Cloud Book App. Music is weak Make sure the system power is not low. Recharge the battery if necessary. Adjust a suitable volume on both your device and App. Still not working properly Hold down the WPS Button for 10 seconds to restore the factory settings.
