FCC and Other Information
This device complies with parts 15 and 68 of the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) rules for the United States.
A label is located on the underside of the Base Unit containing both the
FCC registration number and Ringer Equivalence Number (REN). You
must, on request, provide this information to your local telephone
company.
This device is compatible with inductively coupled hearing aids‘
Your FT90X/FT24X is designed to operate at the maximum power
allowed by the FCC. This means your Handset and Base Unit can
communicate only over a certain distance — which will depend on the
location of the Base Unit and Handset, weather, and the construction and
layout of your home or office.

Caution: Any changes or modifications to this unit not expressly
approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s
authority to operate this device.
The device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This device generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this device does cause harmful interference to

radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
device off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference
by one or more of the following measures:
- Re-orientate or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet or on a circuit different from that
to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/T V technician for help.
Some cordless telephones operate at frequencies that may cause
interference to nearby TVs and VCRs. To minimize or prevent such
interference, the base unit of the cordless telephone should not be placed
near or on top of a TV or VCR. If interference is experienced, move the
cordless telephone further away from the TV or VCR. This will often
reduce or eliminate interference.
FCC Part 68
The FCC requires that you connect your cordless telephone to the
nationwide telephone network through a modular telephone jack (USOC
RJ] lC/RJIIW or RJ14C/RJ14W).
This device must not be connected to a coin operated line.
If you are on a party line, check with your local telephone company.
In the event terminal equipment causes harm to the telephone network, the
telephone company should notify the customer, if possible, that service
may be stopped.
However, where prior notice is impractical, the company may temporarily
cease service providing that they:
I. Promptly notify the customer.
II. Give the customer an opportunity to correct the problem with their
