Quick Start Guide WORX GT TM 3 in 1 Grass Trimmer/Edger 2 Align the Safety Guard according to the slots on the Trimmer Head so it slides into position. 5.2 When edging, keep the Flower Guard/Edger Guide to the side. WG160/WG167 9 To adjust the Upper Shaft angle or convert the tool from trimming mode and edging mode, unlock the Pivot Head Locking Knob by hand, and using adequate force, pull the trimmer head into the desired position, then lock the Pivot Head Locking Knob. 11 Position 2: Trimming Side to Side: Position the GT in trimming position. Put the Edger/Trimming Support Wheels underneath the Safety Guard. Slide the support wheels vertically onto the metal plate until it locks into position. WARNING! Please read the Owner's Manual to fully understand this product prior to use. CAUTION! Appropriate clothing and safety gear must be worn while operating this product. Be aware of all bystanders, pets and objects in close proximity. 3 Secure the Safety Guard onto the Trimmer Head with the provided screw. 6 Telescopic Shaft Adjustment Trigger Step one foot on the Safety Guard, then use one hand to pull up the Telescopic Shaft Adjustment Trigger, adjust the length of the Telescopic Shaft to the most comfortable height. Release the Telescopic Shaft Adjustment Trigger to lock in position. CHARGING PROCEDURE 1 Connect the battery charger to the power supply and the light (1) will turn green. 2 Push battery into charger base (2) until a "click" sound is heard. Red light: Battery is charging Green light: Battery is fully charged 1 OPTIONAL EDGER/TRIMMING SUPPORT WHEELS There are three optional positions for the Edger/Trimming Support Wheels 10 Position 1: Edging: Place the tool in the upright position, slide the Edger Wheel assembly onto the metal plate located on the side of the Trimmer Head. 12 Position 3: Trimming Forward and Reverse: Position the GT in trimming position. Put the Edger /Trimming Support Wheel underneath the Safety Guard. Slide the support wheels horizontally onto the metal plate until it locks into position. 2 4 Install battery pack. 7 To rotate the Main Handle 90°, hold down the lower housing with your foot and pull upward on the Telescopic Shaft. Rotate the Telescopic Shaft 90°clockwise and release. 3 When charging is completed, unplug the charger and remove the battery pack. 1 2 2 8 Adjust the Auxiliary Handle by pulling the Locking Lever. Rotate the Auxiliary Handle to the most comfortable position and release to lock it into place. 1 Remove the screw from the Safety Guard.
