1Overview
ThankyouforchoosingtheWCDMA/GSMdigitalmobilephone.Afterreadingthisguideyouwill
beabletofullymastertheuseofyourphoneandappreciateallitsfunctionsandeaseofuse.
NotonlydoesthesmartphoneprovideyouwithbasiccallfunctionssuchascallRegister,butalso
withmanypracticalfunctionsandservices,toimprovethetimeyouspendworkingandplaying.
ThecolorscreenmobilephonecomplieswiththeWCDMA/GSMtechnologyandhasbeen
approvedbycertificationauthoritiesbothdomesticallyandabroad.
Theavailabilityofsomeservicesandfeaturesdescribedinthismanualdependsonthenetwork
andyoursubscription.Therefore,somemenuitemsmaynotbeavailableinyourphone.The
shortcutstomenusandfeaturesmayalsovaryfromphonetophone.

1.2Safetyguide
Ifyourmobilephoneislostorstolen,pleasecontactthetelecommunicationsauthoritiesora
salesagentimmediatelytohaveaholdonthephoneandtheSIMcard.Thiswillprevent

SetthePINnumberofyourmobilephone’sSIMcardandchangethisnumberimmediatelyifit

Turnoffyourmobilephonewherethephoneisnotallowed,suchas,ontheairplaneorin
hospitals.Usingthemobilephoneinthoseplacesmayimpactthenormaloperationofelectronic
devicesandmedicalinstruments.Followrelevantregulationswhenusingyourmobilephonein
thoseplaces.Yourmobilephonehastheautoturn‐onfeature.Checkyouralarmclocksettingsto

1.3.3Noticeswhenusingthebattery
Thebatteryhasalimitedservicelife.Theremaininglifegetsshorterasthetimesofcharging
increase.Ifthebatterybecomesfeebleevenafterthecharging,thisindicatestheservicelifeis
overandyouhavetouseanewbattery.
Donotdisposeofoldbatterieswitheverydaydomesticgarbage.Pleasedisposeofoldbatteries
atthedirectedplaceswithspecificrulesfortheirdisposal.
Pleasedonotthrowbatteriesintoafire,asthiswillcausethebattertocatchfireandexplode.
Wheninstallingthebattery,donotuseforceorpressure,asthiswillcausethebatterytoleak,
overheat,crackandcatchfire.

1.3.4Chargingyourphone
Connecttheconnectorofchargertothemobilephone.Thebatterylevelindicatorflashesonthe
screen.Evenifthephonehasbeenturnedoff,thechargingimagestillappears,indicatingthat
thebatteryisbeingcharged.Ifthephoneisoverusedwhenthecurrentisinsufficient,itmaytake
longertimeforthechargingindicatortoappearonthescreenafterthechargingbegins.
Whenthebatterylevelindicatordoesnotflashandindicatesthebatteryisfull,thisindicatesthe
charginghasbeencompleted.Ifthephoneisoffduringcharging,thechargingbeingcompleted
imagealsoappearsonthescreen.Thechargingprocessoftentakes3to4hours.Duringthe
charging,thebattery,phoneandchargergetswarm,thisisanormalphenomenon.
Uponthecompletionofcharging,disconnectthechargerfromACpowersocket,andfromthe
mobilephone.
Notes:
Duringcharging,thephonemustbeplacedinwell‐ventilatedenvironmentof+5℃~+40℃.
Alwaysusethechargersuppliedbyyourphonemanufacturer.Usinganunauthorizedcharger
mightcausedangerandinvalidatetheauthorizationandwarrantyclausesforyourphone.
Thestandbytimeandcalldurationprovidedbythemanufacturerarebasedonidealoperating
environment.Inpractice,thebattery'soperatingtimevariesdependingonnetworkconditions,
operatingenvironmentandusagemethods.
Makesurethebatteryhasbeeninstalledbeforecharging.Itisbestnottoremovethebattery
whilecharging.
Uponcompletionofcharging,disconnectthechargerfromyourphoneandthepowersupply.

2.3Usingthetouchscreen
YourphoneprovidesmanytouchkeysintheMainscreen.Tousethesekeyscorrectly,calibrate
thetouchscreeninadvance(see“Calibrator”).Meanwhilepleasefollowtheinstructions:

2.4Connectingtothenetwork
2.4.1InsertingandremovingtheSIMcard
Turnoffthephone;removethebatteryandunplugotherexternalpowersupplies.InserttheSIM
cardintotheSIMholderasshowninthephone.
WhenyouneedtoremovetheSIMcard,turnoffthephone,removethebatteryandthen
removetheSIMcardfromtheholder.
Warning:DoturnoffyourphonebeforeremovingtheSIMcard.NeverinsertorremovetheSIM
cardwhenanexternalpowersupplyisconnected,asthismaycausedamagetotheSIMcard.
2.4.2Turningyourphoneonandoff
Toturnonthephone,holddownthePOWERkeyonthetop;toturnoffthephone,holddown
thePOWERkey.
IfyouhaveturnedonyourphonewithoutinsertingtheSIMcard,thephonewillpromptyouto
installtheSIMcard.WiththeSIMcardalreadyinserted,yourphoneautomaticallyverifiesthe
availabilityoftheSIMCard.
Then,thescreenshowsthefollowing:

Notes:
Ifwhenyouturnonthemobilephone,anexclamationmarkappearsonthescreenanddoesnot
disappear,thisispossiblycausedbymisoperation,thatis,youpressthePowerkeyandthe
VolumeUpkeyatthesametime.Suchmisoperationactivatestherecoverymode,hencethe
occurrenceofexclamationmark.Ifyoujustturnoffthephone,nexttimewhenyouturniton,it
willstillcometotherecoverymode.
Solution:
PresstheHomekeywhentheexclamationmarkandrobotappear,amenuwillpopup.Usethe
Menukeytoselect"rebootsystemnow"torestartthephone.
2.4.3UnlockingtheSIMcard
ThePIN1(personalidentificationnumber)securesyourSIMcardfrombeingmisusedbyothers.
Ifyouhaveselectedthisfunction,youmustenterthePIN1codeeachtimeyouturnonthephone
sothatyoumayunlocktheSIMcardandthenmakeoranswercalls.YoucandeactivateSIMcard
protection(see“Safetysettings”).Inthiscase,themisuseofyourSIMcardcannotbeprevented.
PresstheHangUpkeytoturnonyourphone;
EnteryourPIN1code.Cleartheincorrectdigitsbyusingtherightsoftkey,andpressOKfor
confirmation.e.g.ifyourPIN1is1234,pleaseenter:
1234
Ifyouenterincorrectnumbersforthreetimesinsuccession,yourSIMcardwillbelockedand
yourphonewillaskyoutoenterPUK1number.IfyoudonotknowthePUK1code,donottry.
Instead,contactyournetworkserviceprovider.See“Safetysettings”.
Note:yournetworkserviceprovidersetsastandardPIN1code(4to8digits)foryourSIMcard.

2.4.4Unlockingyourphone
Topreventunauthorizeduse,youcansetphoneprotection.Ifyouhaveselectedthisfunction,
youmustdrawunlockingpatterneachtimeyouturnonyourphone,tounlockthephoneand
thenmakeoranswercalls.Youmaycleartheunlockingpattern(see“Safetysettings”).Inthis
case,theunauthorizeduseofyourphonecannotbeprotected.
Ifyouforgetyourphonepassword,youmustcontacttheretailerorlocalauthorizedservice
centertounlockyourphone.
2.4.5Connectingtothenetwork
OnceyourSIMcardisunlocked,yourphonesearchesforavailablenetworkautomatically(the
screenwillshowthenetworksearchingisunderway).Ifyourphonehasfoundtheavailable
network,thenameofnetworkserviceproviderappearsatthecenterofscreen.
Note:Makinganemergencycall。Note:If“onlyforemergencycalls”appearsonthescreen,it
indicatesthatyouarebeyondthenetworkcoverage(servicearea),andthatyoucanstillmake
emergencycallsdependingonthesignalintensity.
2.4.6Makingacall
Whenthelogoofnetworkserviceproviderappearsonthescreen,youcanmakeoransweracall.
Thebarsattheupperleftcornerofscreenindicatetheintensityofnetworksignal.
Conversationqualityissignificantlyaffectedbyobstacles,thusmovingwithinasmallareawhile
makingoransweringacallcanimprovetheconversationquality.
2.4.7Makingadomesticcall
IntheDialscreen,enteranumber,andpresstheDialkeytomakeacall.Tochangethenumber,
deletethedigitsyouhaveentered.Duringdialing,theanimationappearsonthescreen.Afterthe
callispickedup,thescreenwillshowcallstatusinformation.Iftheconnectionalerttonehas
beenset,yourphonewillringthealerttone(networkdependent).

2.4.8Makinganinternationalcall
Tomakeaninternationalcall,holddownthe0keyontheDialingscreenuntilthe
internationalprefix"+”forappears.Thisallowsyoutodialaninternationalnumberwithout
knowingitsinternationalfix(e.g.00forChina).
Followingtheentryofinternationalprefix,enterthecountrycodeandcompletephonenumber.
Forthecountrycodes,followthegeneralconventions,forexample,49forGermany,44forUK,
and46forSweden.
Likemakinganinternationalcallviaafixedtelephone,omitthe“0”attheheadofacitycode.

2.4.9Makingacallfromthelist
Allcallsdialedandreceivedarestoredwithinalistinyourphone.Thosedialedandreceived
recentlyareexhibitedatthetopofthelist(see“CallRegister”).Allthenumbersaresortedby
DialedCalls,ReceivedCallsandMissedCalls.Yourphonealsoprovidesoptionsforyoutoviewall
calls.WhenthecallRegisterisfull,theoldnumberswillbedeletedautomatically.Toviewthelist,
dothefollowing:

2.4.10Makinganemergencycall
Ifyouarebeyondthenetworkcoverage(seenetwork‐signal‐intensitybarsattheupperleft
cornerofthescreen),youcanstillmakeemergencycalls.Ifyournetworkserviceproviderdoes
notprovideroamingservicetothearea,thescreenwillshow“onlyforemergencycalls”,alerting
youthatyoucanonlymakesuchcalls.Ifyouarewithinthenetworkcoverage,youcanalsomake
emergencycallsevenwithouttheSIMcard.
2.4.11Callmenu
TheCallmenuisonlyvisibleduringanactivecall,andfeaturessuchasCallWaiting,CallDiverting,
andMultiple‐partyCallarenetworkdependent.Contactyournetworkserviceprovider.

3.1FileManagement
Thefilemanagementiscomposedofsdcardandsdcard2,whilesdcardisthememoryofthe
phone,sdcard2istheexternalSDcard.Inthefilemanagement,filescanbesearchedrapid,
deletedoreditedineachcardandnewfilescanbecreated.
3.2SendinganEmail
YoucansendanEmailtoanyonewhohasanEmailaddress.
Enteringtheprocedureandsetanaccount,youcanclicktheaccountsothatyoucomeintothe
accountalreadycreated,youcanalsoactivate,compileandcreateanaccountandthendelete
theoperating.Theemailcanbesentandreceivedjustlikeinacomputer.Thisprocedurerequires
thenetworksupport.
3.3Dialing
Whendialing,youcanhaveaquickacesstothecallrecords,contactsanddigitdialkeyboard
(usedformanualdialing)bythemenukeyonthescreen.
3.43Gvideocall
Clickanumberportraitinthephonebook,andyoucandothesethingsinstantly:dial,senda
messageandmakeavideocall.Duringthevideocall,youcanselectapplicationssuchas
adjustingittomutemode,switchingtorobotportrait,turningoffthevoiceandintercepting
photostoSDcard.
3.5Calculator
Yourphoneprovidesacalculatorwith4basicfunctionsfortheconvenienceofyourcalculating.
Pressthisbutton,andyoudeletetheinputandoutputinbitwise.
