Xerox FreeFlow® Print Server
version 7 for the Xerox iGen4™ Press
Supercharge your workflow.
Drive image quality, automation, and
productivity to new levels in your production
workflow with the Xerox FreeFlow Print Server.
It enhances the revenue-generating potential
of the Xerox iGen4 Press by enabling efficient
job management, outstanding color control,
sophisticated variable data capabilities, and
more. Because it seamlessly integrates into
mixed digital/offset environments, you can
do more jobs more efficiently. Count on it to
deliver the production processing capability
and workflow flexibility to meet your volume
and application needs.
Simplified yet powerful job management—
for timesaving efficiency.
An easy-to-use interface gives you complete control over your print jobs.
You can submit jobs with a choice of print drivers as well as directly from
a CD, DVD, or USB drive—or integrate job submission with the FreeFlow
Digital Workflow Collection or your currently established workflow. You also
can efficiently manage your print schedules by processing jobs with JDF
job tickets. Once the job
is received, capabilities
such as page level
programming and
advanced color settings
provide you with
extensive control.
ConfidentColor Technology—prepress
through production.
Built-in and transparent color controls optimize for great results, right
out of the box. Or refine server settings with hands-on flexibility to
fine-tune for individual preferences or compensate for less-than-perfect
files. It makes easy work out of both traditional CMYK and digital-age RGB
workflows (including emulations), so you can move jobs between offset
and digital workflows with consistent results.
Outstanding VI features—to enable
new applications.
Add Variable Information (VI) graphics, images, and data to your
documents using the FreeFlow Variable Information Suite, XMPie® or
a number of other VI software packages for high-impact, high-value
marketing communications. With its broad range of capabilities and its
ability to support an extensive list of native data streams—including color
management of IPDS files—it’s ideal for both TransPromo printing using
mainframe data streams, and commercial printing using graphic-intensive
VI workflows.
Benchmark security—because it truly matters.
Benefit from multiple security levels for individual and group settings,
all based on UNIX® which is not susceptible to attack from email viruses
or worms. Encrypted job-submission modes provide for public and private
key encryption. Security profiles offer custom setups, secure passwords,
a print mode that limits duplicate page printing, and more.
