First Time Turning On the Computer
1. FindandTurntheBatteryswitchON.Asmallscrewdriverorpaperclipmaybeusedforthispurpose.
ForSafetyreasonsthetabletisshippedwiththeBatteryswitchOFFandthetabletwillnotoperateif
thisstepisnottaken.ItisnotnecessarytoturntheBatteryswitchofthedeviceONorOFFduring
normaldeviceoperationsothisoperationisonlyneededoninitialdeviceoperation.
BatterySwitchisONwhenthrowntowardthetopsideofthetablet.
2. Makesurethebatteryischargedorthatthecomputerispluggedintoanexternalpowersource.
3. PressthePowerOn/Off/Suspend/Resumebutton.

Suspend Operation
Toconservebatterypowerwhenyoudonotwanttoturnoffthecomputer,putthecomputerintoSuspend
mode.(Youcansuspendoperationwithoutclosinganyapps.).Thedefaultconfigurationattimeofpurchaseis
forthesystemtoentersuspendmodeautomaticallyafter5minutesofnoactivity.
TomanuallyentersuspendmodepressthePowerswitchbrieflyandrelease.Thedisplayshouldswitchoff,
withoutanyconfirmationmenubeingpresented.
