over) wtth possession or the ball in your opponenl’s territory, you have the opponuntty tor a field
goal to keep from losing that sooring opportunity. it you go down on your side or the field. you
may elect to try to regain possession and not try a long field goal because the rules ot krotring a

rwo Players: Straight Up Football
- Duration of Play: A game consists cl iour quarters. Each quaner is defined as one cha
cycle lor each Mighty Helmet RaoersiM team Players must pay attention to their own raoens
endurance and should conserve bahery power il the opposing player makes a breakaway
touchdown, it either player loses power, the opposing player may continue to play (and score)
until his racer cannot continue Ionlvard motion.
. Location of Play: Foldable NFL Mighty Helmet Racers'" playing field should be the location
lor play to ocnlorrn to these instructions. Additional playing fields may be developed by players
to allow more space or obstacles during game play,
- Start ol earn arrie begins with opposing players ln their respective end zones with back
ol helmet positioned in the center ol the goal posts, Football is placed in center or Mighty
Helmet Racers" logo at the oenter oi the playing field, At an agreed upon starting signal, both
players race to the toothall. The first player to gain control oi the ball is immediately on ollense,
- Game Play: After a player galns conlrol 0! football. that player must advance the ball across
the cpposlng player's goal Ilne lo score a lnuchdcwn Should the ball be Vumbled by the
opposition, play continues until a player scores or is tackled (turned over).
Should a player lose control or be tackled when not carrying the ball, that player is
allowed to reset his Mighty Helmet Racerm in the spot where the tumover occurred
The opposing player may continue play while this resetting takes place,
ll a player has control of the ball when tipping over or being tackled by the opposing
player. play is stopped at that spot. ‘rhe player in possession then has two choice ,
1 J try to regain possession of the hall, or 2) try for a field goal. Should the player
elect to try to regain possession, the iootbail is placed atthat location and players
are restarted at their respective and zones
Should the player tipping over wish to try a field goal, see Scoring below.

- Fumbling: The attachment mechanism on the lront oi the Mighty Helmet Raoersw chassis
is designed to allow control oi the ball. However, just as in real iootball, this device cannot
Withstand all hits and attempts to snatch the ball by the opposing team. Taking the ball away
from the opponent is an imponani part oi the game Should both opponents have control oi
the bail and no lorward progress is possible. players should mutually consent to reset the
loctball in the center oi the field and begin play anew. In the event that a player drags an
opponent into the end zone when both have the ball, a score results for the player whose
offensive and zone was entered.
Should a tree can end up in the end zone, no score occurs until the ball is secured
by a Mighty Helmet Racers” attachment mechanism Unless a player is tackled
with the ball. that player may have possession in their own and zone without the
other team being awarded a score.
- Scoring: Touchdowns: Touchdowns count as six points. A touchdown occurs when a player
carries the iootball into the opponent‘s end zone
PATs (Extra Points)-
Extra point opportunities are awarded to the scoring team alter touchdowns, The extra
point is a one possession scoring opportunity with the scoring team starting at midfield
and the defending team Stan-mg in its own end zone. The ball is placed at the 25 yard
line. Just as in regular play, players race to the ball at the agreed upon starting signal
PATs are SINGLE POSSESSION plays, Should the detensive player gain control first,
the PAT attempt is declared no good. Should the oitensive player gain control first, that
player must score on that possession to gain the (one) point. Should the ofiensive player
tumble. possession is up tor grabs. it the otrensive player recovers his own tumble, play
is dead and the next kickoff begins. lt the defensive player recovers, that player has met

olt trom respective end zones and racing to gain possession or the ball,
If a player's scoring attempt is stopped by a tackle on the opponent's suite at the field. it
may be advantageous tor the ottensive player to attempt m score a three-point field
goal. To attempt the field goal, the players' Mighty Helmet Racersm simply change ends
or the field. For example, it an offensive player is tackled on the opponent's 20 yard line.
that player starts at the detensive player's goal line. All the ottensive player has to do is
get lo the balll gsln possession and return the ball m the opponent‘s end zone (or three
points. The detensive player starts at the onensive player's goal line and races to the
ball to impede the ottensive player's attempt. it the defensive player gains possession
first, the attempt is no good, lt the ottensive player gains possession first and brings me
ball back to the opponent's end zone trom where the attempt began, the attempt is
