OPERATION: REMOTE FUNCTIONS
Please take time to read the owners manual. If you
have any question, please contact your authorized dealer.
Also, refer to the FUNCTION printed on the back of your remote.
Button I.
Press 1/2 sec. for Arm(Lock)/Disarm(Unlock)
ARM: 1 chirp for confirmation.
If there is no response, you are out of range.
Upon arming, doors will lock (optional. see your dealer),
LED will begin to flash, and the Starter Kill (Optional, see
your dealer) will take into effect. The shock sensor will be
in Impact Watch Mode in 30 seconds upon arming.
DISARM: 2 chirps for confirmation upon disarming,
doors will unlock (optional, see your dealer) and the
interior light will come on for30 seconds or until the key
is turned on (dome light supervision optional, see your dealer).
If your system has been triggered while armed,
disarm will be confirmed, when disarmed;
By 3 chirps if 2nd stage of shock sensor has been triggered.
By 4 chirps if a door has been opened.
By 5 chirps if trunk has been opened.
Note: While the alarm is going off, pressing Button I for
1/2 Sec. will reset the system without disarming.
Button I.
Press 2 sec. for Panic mode.
To turn off Panic mode, press Button I for 1/2 Sec.
Panic is also used for Car Finder.
Button II.
Press 2 sec. to activate Auxiliary I.
Remote will BEEP once to confirm the activation of Aux. I.
If there is no response, you air out of range.
Optional output for window roll up/down, remote starter
interface or other options. (See your dealer for more information)
Button II.
Press 1/2 sec. to activate Auxiliary II
remote will BEEP twice to confirm the activation of Aux. II.
Button III.
Press 2 sec.
2 chirps for the confirmation. Optional, see your dealer.
Button IV.
Press 1/2 sec. Query Mode
Query Mode is to check the status of your vehicle. LCD
in the remote will show you if:
1. System is Armed(locked)/Disarmed(unlocked),
2. Door is open,
3. Trunk is open,
4. Vehicle is running and/or
5. Ignition Wire being powered.
The LCD in the remote displays 5 different Modes
Button I + II
Press 1/2 sec. Mute mode (ON/OFF)
ON, when SPK is not shaded in the LCD.
OFF, when SPK is shaded in the LCD.
Button I+III
Press 1/2 sec. Valet Mode (ON/OFF)
When Valet Mode is activated with remote, Zzz will indicate in the LCD.
Note: Valet Mode with the key will not show Zzz in the remote.
Valet Mode with KEY:
Place the key in the Ignition. Turn to ON position and then to OFF or Acc.
Three times ON/OFF(Acc) within 3 seconds. The siren will chirp and
parking lights will flash once to confirm Valet Mode.
Button II+III
Press 1/2 sec.
Car Call(Vehicle Paging System)/Pager (ON/OFF)
ON, when Car Call is shaded in the LCD.
OFF, when Car Call is not shaded in the LCD.
Remote-Pager will respond to:
1. Door/Hood
2. Trunk
3. 2nd stage Shock/Optional sensor
4. Vehicle Paging System (V.P.S.)
Button II+IV
Press 1/2 sec.
24Hr. Mode (shock sensor ON/OFF)
shock sensor ON, when 24Hr. is shaded in the LCD.
shock sensor OFF, when 24Hr. is not shaded in the LCD.
Button III+IV
Press 1/2 sec. Turbo Mode (2nd car ON/OFF)
You may control two vehicles with one remote. 1st vehicle with Turbo OFF,
and the 2nd vehicle with Turbo ON. (See Remote Learning Procedure)
ALARM TRIGGER
Alarm will be triggered in the following ways:
1. Light Impact will trigger the 1st stage of the Shock sensor;
the siren will chirp 4 times and the parking lights will flash four times.
The 1st stage will not page the Remote-Pager.
2. Heavy impacts will trigger the system with 30 seconds of
constant siren and flashing of the parking lights. The Remote-Pager
will BEEP and a Hammer will appear and start to flash with the
parking light in the LCD.(Optional sensor will trigger the same way as
the 2nd stage of the Shock sensor).
3. If a Door is opened, the siren will go off and the parking lights
will flash for 30 seconds. Remote-Pager will BEEP and the Door and
parking lights will flash in the LCD. (Optional Hood sensor will trigger
the same way as the Door trigger).
4. If the Trunk opens, the siren will go off and the
parking lights will flash for 30 seconds. Remote-Pager
will BEEP and the Trunk and parking lights will flash in the LCD.
5. Optional Starter Kill will prevent the vehicle from staring.
TRANSMITTER LEARNING PROCEDURE
Important: Make sure the type of the door lock pulse
you need for this vehicle. Also, determine whether you
are going to program transmitter with Turbo Mode (2nd Car)
ON or OFF or ON and OFF both.
Step 1:
Put the system in Valet Mode with the KEY by
turning the key to Ignition ON and OFF three times
within 3 seconds. The parking lights will flash once
when it enters Valet Mode.
Step 2:
Once in the Valet Mode, choose one of the Lock options
within 6 seconds by pressing one of the buttons.
Button I for 1/2 sec. Single pulse lock/unlock
Button II for 2 sec. Double pulse unlock
Button VI for 1/2 sec. 2-second lock/unlock
Step 3:
To program additional remotes. Just press any Button on
the 2nd and 3rd Remotes. The system will learn up to three Remotes.
Note: Step 2 and 3 will remove any of the Remotes
that were previously programmed to the system.
Each time when you program a Remote, you have
to program the 2nd or 3rd Remote also even if it
was programmed previously. The parking lights will flash twice after 6 seconds.
PROGRAMMING OPTIONS WITH REMOTE
Step 1:
Place the KEY in the Ignition and turn to ON position.
Step 2:
Press Button I+IV at the same time for 1/2 second.
Lights will flash and the siren will chirp once to confirm
you are in the Programming Options.
Step 3:
Press Button I
for 1/2 sec. for Ignition Controlled Lock ON
Press Button IV
for 1/2 sec. for Ignition Controlled Lock OFF
(Lights will flash and the siren will chirp twice to confirm Step 3)
Step 4:
Press Button I for 1/2 sec. for Passive Arming
(automatic arming in 30 seconds)
Press Button II for 2 sec. for Semi-Passive Arming(if a door is
opened within the 30 sec., the vehicle will not be armed passively.)
Press Button VI 1/2 sec. for Active Arming
(Lights will flash and the siren will chirp five times to confirm Step 4)
Note: Complete the above 4 steps within 6 seconds ;
otherwise, you will hear 3 chirps If the siren chirps 3 times, you have to repeat the 4 steps.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Firstech, Inc. Warrants to the original purchaser that this
product shall be free of defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and circumstances for the
period of time that the original owner of this product
owns the vehicle in which it is installed; except that the
remote controller unit for the period of one year from the
date of installation to the original owner of this product.
When the original purchaser returns the product to the
retail store where it was purchased or pre-paid postal to
Firstech, Inc., 230 E. Potter Suite 8, Anchorage, Alaska
99518, USA within the warranty period, and if the
product is defective Firstech, Inc, will at its option repair or replace such.
"TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES ARE
EXCLUDED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND EACH ENTITY PARTICIPATING IN THE STREAM
OF COMMERCE THEREWITH. THIS EXCLUSION INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, THE
EXCLUSION OF ANY AND ALL WARRANTY OF MACHINABILITY AND/OR ANY AND ALL
WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR ANY AND ALL WARRANTY
OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF PATENTS, IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND/OF ABROAD.
NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER OR ANY ENTITIES CONNECTED THEREWITH SHALL BE
RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, DAMAGES FOR LOSS
OF TIME, LOSS OF EARNINGS, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOSS OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND
THE LIKE. NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, MANUFACTURER DOES OFFER A LIMITED
WARRANTY TO REPLACE OR REPAIR THE CONTROL MODULE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty will last or the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may also have other rights, which vary State to State.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
A product's warranty is automatically void if its date code or serial number is defaced, missing,
or altered. This warranty will not be valid unless you have completed the warranty card
and mailed it to Firstech, Inc,. within 10 days after purchase to the address listed on the card.
