®Your ZAGG Exchange Bluetooth speaker comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Read these instructions and keep them in a safe place for future reference. Warranty RegistrationIntroductionYour ZAGG Exchange speaker is charged and ready to deliver up to 10 hours of play and talk time. Simply turn it on, pair it, and begin enjoying your music and calls in clear, high-fidelity audio that goes everywhere. Here's how to turn on and pair your Exchange speaker. Powering and Pairing
®1. Make sure your device's Bluetooth connection in enabled. Youcan do this on many devices by accessing the SETTINGS menu, and then choosing GENERAL BLUETOOTH ON.2. Press and hold the power button until you hear the power up tone. The LED above the power button will light blue and flash every seven seconds indicating the Exchange is on. 3. Select “ZAGG Exchange” in your list of available Bluetooth devices. A tone will sound to indicate your Exchange has pairedsuccessfully. NOTE: When powered on, the Exchange speaker automatically begins searching for devices to pair with. If no device is discovered it will enter pairing mode and the LED above the power button will alternate flashing red and blue for two minutes.If no device is found after two minutes, the Exchange will enter standby mode for three minutes and then begin pairing again. This cycle will continue for fifteen minutes, or until the Exchangepairs with a device. If it has not paired after fifteen minutes, the Exchange speaker will automatically power off. 4. When you are ready to turn your ZAGG Exchange speaker off, simply hold the power button for three seconds, or until you hear the power off tone.
With your Exchange speaker paired, it is ready to deliver hours of crystal clear music and calls. Here's how to control your tunes and take calls. (I thought we could include an image of the speaker here and use callouts for its various functions. Callouts are listed below.)Play/Pause/Power button – Press and hold to turn your Exchange on and off. Press once to play music. With music playing, press once to pause and resume. Volume Up/Track Advance – Press and hold to increase the volume. Press once to track forward on your selected playlist. Mute/Check Battery – While on a call, press once to mute the call (the left LED will light red until mute is turned off); press again to resume your conversation. When not on a call, press to check remaining battery power. Battery Indicator (LED above the mute button) – The LED flashes one of three colors to indicate remaining battery level. Green indicates more than 66% battery life remaining. Yellow indicates between 33-66% remaining. Red indicates you have less than 33% battery life remaining. Voice Activation – Press to activate your device's voice activation program. Volume Down/Track Back – Press and hold to decrease the • • • • • • Music and Call Controls
volume. Press once to track backward on your selected playlist.Answer/Disconnect Call – Press once to receive an incoming call. Press again to disconnect the call. • Your ZAGG Exchange comes charged and ready to play. When you need to charge it, here's how:1. Connect the micro USB end of the included charging cable to your Exchange speaker. 2. Connect the USB end of the charging cable to your preferred charging solution.3. The LED above the power button will light red to indicate theExchange is charging. Wait until this light turns off, indicatinga full charge. Charging the Exchange from zero to a full chargetakes approximately two hours. 4. When your Exchange is charged and ready for more play, simply disconnect the charging cable and enjoy your music and calls anywhere you go. Charging Your ZAGG Exchange
Your ZAGG Exchange speaker is designed to go everywhere with you. Here are some tips on how to best care for it. 1. Use the visor clip to attach the Exchange in the most convenientspot for everyone to enjoy. If you don't need the visor clip, simply remove it. The clip attaches magnetically so it's easy to remove or replace. NOTE: While the magnet on the visor clip is powerful, it may become dislodged with abrupt 2. force. Do not clip your Exchange speaker in a place where it may come loose from the visor clip and fall or be exposed to other harm. 3. Keep your Exchange speaker free from dirt and water. If your Exchange is exposed to dirt and grime, wipe it clean using a damp cloth. Do not expose the Exchange speaker or any of its buttons or ports to water. If it does get water on it, wipe it clean and consider placing it in a bag of rice, or other desiccant, to tryand remove any remaining moisture. 4. If your Exchange speaker is exposed to impact, examine it closely for damage before using, or charging, it. 5. If your Exchange has trouble pairing or is performing oddly, press and hold the power button for ten seconds to reset its software. Care and Maintenance
