QUICK
START
GUIDE
Congratulations! We are excited to welcome you to the
next generation of smart technology. Beam can work
with your wireless router to extend the range of your
wireless network to areas of your home or office that
previously had little or no signal. It has three LED color
options that allow you to customize its nightlight to fit
your needs. This quick start guide will help you
configure your Beam for initial use.
Before you begin
Beam's hardware
Location requirements
During thunderstorms, please unplug Beam to
prevent it from getting damaged due to lightning
strikes.
Try to locate Beam about half way between your
wireless router and the furthest area you will want
to push wireless signal.
Locate Beam in a spacious place, such as near
hallways or corridors.
Choose a location away from electronic appliances
that generate strong magnetic or electric fields,
such as a microwave oven or a refrigerator.

Environmental requirements
Keep Beam far from sources of heat and fire, such
as heaters or candles.
Place Beam in a cool and well-ventilated indoor
area. Do not expose Beam to direct sunlight.
Note: To reset Beam, insert a paper clip or similar thin object into
the reset pinhole, and press and hold for 10 seconds.
Quick setup
Do not place any object (such as a candle or a
water container) on the device. If any foreign
object or liquid enters the device, stop using the
device immediately, power it off and then contact
our support team.
Please make sure Beam is always within the
wireless coverage of your wireless router.
Do not block Beam with any object. Reserve a
minimum space of 10cm around Beam for heat
dissipation.
The operating distance range of your wireless
connection can vary significantly depending on the
physical position of your wireless devices. In order to
optimize the performance of your Beam, please follow
the instructions:
