operation,conferencesareaffected.

3.Ensurethatallcablesareconnectedcorrectlyandrmly.

3.ConnectpowertotheZXV10ET501,andpressthepowerswitchonthefront
panellightly.
àPowersurgeoccurswhenanexternaldeviceispoweredonoroff,
transmittinginterferencesignalstotheZXV10ET501andprobablycausing
astartupfailureorfaultontheZXV10ET501.Externaldevicesmustbe
poweredonbeforetheZXV10ET501isstarted.
àAftertheZXV10ET501isstarted,checkthestatusindicator.Theindicator
islitbluewhentheZXV10ET501operatesproperly.
Note:
àTheperipheralssufferaninrushcurrentwhentheyarepoweredupandshut
down,andasaresulttheysendinterferencesignalstotheterminal.Thismay
causeastartupfailure.Thus,youshouldpoweruptheperipheralsbeforestarting
upthesystem.
àAftertheZXV10ET501terminalstartsup,youshouldchecktheindicatorsonthe

lBeforecleaningtheproduct,poweritoffanddisconnectthepowercable.Useasoft
anddryclothtocleanthedevicecase.
lIftheproductisnotusedorbeforecleaningtheproduct,ensurethattheproductis
poweredoffandthepowercableisdisconnected.
BatteryUsageInstructions
lUsecorrectbatterymodelsandinstallthebatteriescorrectly.Improperbattery
replacementmaycauseanexplosion.
Note:
TheterminalusestheCR20323Vlithiumbatteries,andtheterminalcontrolusestwo
AAAbatteries.
lIfthebatteriescannotbeinstalledinthedevicecorrectly,donotsqueezethebatteries
hard.Otherwise,thebatteriesmayleakliquidorexplode.
lReplacethebatteriesimmediatelyiftheyleadliquid,smoke,oremitasmell.

lCongureWorkModeoftheconnecteddeviceinaccordancewiththefollowing
requirements:
àWhenyouconnectaterminal,setthenetworkinterfacetoAuto,andsetthe
networkdeviceonthepeerendtoAutoaswell.Insomecases,bothendscan
be(butnotrecommendedto)setto100M/Full-duplex.Neversetoneendto
Autoandsettheotherendto100M/Full-duplex.
àBecausethenetworkinterfaceoftheMCUZXV10M9xxxissettoAutoandit
cannotbemodied,thenetworkinterfaceconnectedtotheZXV10M9xxxcanbe
setonlytoAuto.

Iftheterminal,MCU,andnetworkdevicearesettodifferentworkmodes,network
packetsmaybelostinonedirection,andthevideoservicesareaffected.
Thesupplementaryrecommendationsareasfollows:
lThenumberofroutehopsshouldbeasfewaspossible.Thenumberofroute
hopsshouldbereduced,becausetoomanytransmissionhopsmayaffectthevideo
transmission.Thevideodeviceshouldbeconnectedtothemasterswitchingdevice.
lDifferentVLANsshouldbeusedtoisolatevideoconferenceservicesandother
services.
lIncaseofnetworkcongestion,thebuffersequenceshouldbeusedrst.Thelargerthe
buffer,thebetter,andthebuffershouldbeallocatedindependentlyforeachinterface.
