orhighhumidity.Doingsocouldcausedamageandwillvoidthemanufacturerwarranty.
8. Avoidlettingthedevicecomeincontactwithwateroranyliquidwhichwoulddamagethe
device.

ACTA.Onthebottomofthisequipmentisalabelthatcontains,amongotherinformation,a
productidentifierintheformatUS:B1QIS02BU80U100V2.Ifrequested,thisnumbermust
beprovidedtothetelephonecompany.
2.Aplugandjackusedtoconnectthisequipmenttothepremiseswiringandtelephonenetwork
mustcomplywiththeapplicableFCCPart68rulesandrequirementsadoptedbytheACTA.A
complianttelephonecordandmodularplugisprovidedwiththisproduct.Itisdesignedtobe
connectedtoacompatiblemodularjackthatisalsocompliant.Seeinstallationinstructionsfor
details.
3.Ifthisequipment[US:B1QIS02BU80U100V2]causesharmtothetelephonenetwork,the
telephonecompanywillnotifyyouinadvancethattemporarydiscontinuanceofservicemay
berequired.Butifadvancenoticeisn'tpractical,thetelephonecompanywillnotifythe
customerassoonaspossible.Also,youwillbeadvisedofyourrighttofileacomplaintwith
theFCCifyoubelieveitisnecessary.
4.AccordingtotheFCC'selectricalsafetyadvisory,werecommendthatyoumayinstallanACsurge
arresterintheACoutlettowhichthisequipmentisconnected.Telephonecompaniesreportthat
electricalsurges,typicallylightningtransients,areverydestructivetocustomerterminalequipment
connectedtoACpowersourcesandthatthisisamajornationwideproblem.
5. The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations or
procedures that could affect the operation of the equipment. If this happens the telephone
company will provide advance notice in order for you to make necessary modifications to
maintain uninterrupted service.

Before you power on the CooVox-U100 IPPBX, please read the Quick Installation Guide
in the packing box. There are some important notices about safety, environment and
hardware installation prerequisites that you should be aware of.
Please refer to the guide and properly install CooVox-U100 in your computer room before
turning it on and configuring it. Below shows what the cover of the Quick Installation Guide
looks like.

theCooVoxsystemdefaultaddress,thenyouwillneedtochangetheIPaddresstosomething
moreappropriatebeforeconnectingtoyourlocalLAN.
