beobservedfromthisproduct.Afailureofthescannerengine,whilethelaserdiode
continuestoemitalaserbeam,maycauseemissionlevelstoexceedthoseforsafe
operation.Thescannerhassafeguardstopreventthisoccurrence.If,however,a
stationarylaserbeamisemitted,thefailingscannershouldbedisconnectedfromits
powersourceimmediately.

meterdrop,itisidealformanufacturingandlogisticsectors.
Thecradle,adongle,ordeviceswithBluetoothtechnologycanbethehostofthis
scanner.Allscanneddataareinstantlytransferredtotheconnectedhostina100‐
meterconnectionrangeinopenspaceor75‐meterrangeinindoorenvironments(the
actualcommunicationrangemayvaryduetodifferentindoorplacement).Thisfeature
eliminateshazardouscablesandcreatesasaferworkenvironment.
Eitherscanninginthehandheldorhands‐freemode,thisscanneralwaysoffersahigh‐

communicationtothescanner.Ithasthesamechargingfunctionalityasthecharging

1. TakethedesirableinterfacecableandinserttheRJ‐45connectoronthebottomof
thecradle.Youwillhearaclearandshort“click”sound;thenconnecttheother
endtothehost.
2. ConnecttheincludedUSBcableofminiUSBportinthebottomofthecradleand
connectotherendtoUSBpoweradaptor.
3. ConnecttheUSBpoweradaptorintoACoutlet.TheLEDindicatoronthecradle
shouldflashblueuntilitmadeconnectionwiththescanner.
WhenusingKeyboardwedgeandUSBinterfaceforcradle
communication,itisnotnecessarytohaveanexternalpoweradapterif
hosthassufficientpower.Buttheseinterfacesneedexternalpower

Tocheckifthescannerispairedtothecradle,checkthescannerLEDgroup1forslow
blueflashandcheckthetopcradleLEDforsteadybluelight.IfLEDgroup1ofscannerand
topLEDofcradlearebothflashingblue,followthestepsbelowtoradioconnectthe
scannerandcradle.

AslistedintheDefaultParameterssection,eachbarcodetypehasdifferentdefault
length.Youmaychangethesettingbythefollowingprocedure.
Tosetupbarcodelength,theparamourstobedeterminedarebarcodetypeandthe
desiredbarcodelength.Barcodelengthisconsistedof2digits.Fornumberssmaller
